Shame on the USPS for promoting, authorizing, endorsing, whatever it is... This business and website sucks. I know my info gets breached here, Out $600 and not to mention the sleazy tactics they use. Horrible software,horrible website, not up front about costs, and like i said, your data will be breached here. stay away.

I cancelled in September of last year and they are still charging me each month.

I cancelled in September of last year and have notified them several times to stop charging me. They sent me a confirmation of my cancellation in September....but they still charge me 20.99 each month and I have to go to my credit card company to dispute the charge. Hopefully, these are fools making honest mistakes, not a organized scam to rip off customers.

I did NOT sign up for their service

I did NOT sign up for their service, but only looked into it. Yet they promptly billed my credit card twice for a subscription! Completely unacceptable...shady... dishonest.

Fox Den Reviews: Broken System, Hidden Fees, Zero Support


This has easily been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time.

I reached out multiple times about an issue with my order—calls, emails, everything—and was completely ignored. No responses, no follow-ups, nothing. To make it worse, the only “customer service” email provided through the app is noreply@ email address, which means your message literally goes nowhere. You can’t even contact them properly. Phone support seemed clueless, rather than canceling the order they had to submit the cancelation to another deposit.

They also send out AI-generated emails with links that don’t even work, which just adds to the frustration. It feels lazy and completely unhelpful when you’re trying to fix a real issue.

Then comes the billing. They quietly slip in a $20+ monthly membership fee that isn’t clearly disclosed upfront. On top of that, you’re pushed into buying their overpriced, brand-specific label sheets for thermal printers. The pricing is ridiculous—especially when USPS offers many of these supplies for free.

And here’s the kicker: I was told my order was canceled… yet it still shipped anyway. Now I’m stuck paying return shipping on something THEY said wouldn’t even be sent.

At this point, it doesn’t just feel like poor service—it feels misleading and borderline scammy.

Fox Den Verdict: Broken support system, deceptive pricing, and a frustrating experience from start to finish. Avoid at all costs. order THEY said was canceled. That’s not just bad service—that feels shady.

Between the lack of support, misleading subscription model, and overpriced supplies, this feels more like a money grab than a legitimate service.

While we do sell supplies at https://store.stamps.com/ we would like to clarify that for many of our mailing options, the Stamps.com service and software are usable without any supplies or equipment purchased from us. Customers can begin using Stamps.com immediately upon opening an account and installing our software. No additional hardware or supplies are needed to start printing postage. The Stamps.com software allows customers to print valid USPS postage directly onto standard non-windowed envelopes (#8,#9,#10, etc.), and plain paper for barcoded Shipping Labels, for example. Customers may also use labels purchased from a 3rd party office supplies store, such as Avery or NCR labels. Stamps.com customers do not have to purchase Stamps.com scales, and can use scales purchased from an office supplies store.

We apologize for any misunderstanding regarding our fee structure. We hear your concerns and we fully disclose our fees before any account can be created. We don't advertise or offer a free or pay-as-you-go service, and as disclosed and explained during registration, we do charge a $20.99 monthly fee after the 4-Week Trial Period, which ended on your account on xxxx.


The fee we charge gives you access to services of the Post Office and the license to print official U.S. postage. It’s a flat fee that is not determined by how much postage you print. Stamps.com is a vendor licensed by the USPS, and all paid postage goes directly to the Post Office. In order to offer our standard service, we do charge a monthly subscription fee, as stated in our Terms of Service: www.stamps.com/conditions 

We never charge people without their full agreement during our online registration process.  Our service fee is not based on usage or activity.  The monthly subscription service fee that Stamps.com charges is for access of the Stamps.com software, which allows customers to print postage from the comfort of their home or small office using just a PC and a printer.  Our service is a monthly subscription service so it’s not based on usage of the software, but rather on having access to using it. Service was great until...

Service was great until about 7 months ago when an update caused adding extra services such as non machinable charge to first class mail to not actually be applied once it prints. The interface showed it should be applied but it never added it the envelopes, just the base stamp price. I reached out to support to inform them of this issue and that it is critical to my business operations. They said it was a known issue and that they are working on it and I will be notified when it is fixed. That was 7 months ago. It still doesn't work. I have to use alternative methods to continue my business operations and I am looking into completely dropping the service due to unreliability.

Be ready to provide your SSN for this company

Very disappointing experience with Stamps.com.

Everything looked fine at first, and I was able to purchase shipping envelopes without any issues. But after spending my first $100, they suddenly blocked further use and demanded an extreme level of identity verification.

They asked for my SSN, driver’s license, and even a selfie/photo verification — honestly, it felt less like buying shipping supplies and more like applying for a mortgage.

The worst part is that even after wasting my time submitting all the requested personal information, their system still failed to process the verification and did not restore access to the products I had already purchased.

So be prepared: you may spend money, lose a lot of time on unnecessary verification, and still end up throwing away everything you bought because their system simply doesn’t work.

Very frustrating and unacceptable customer experience.

The worst software ever for multiple mailings

The worst software ever. Does not have a printer alignment setting within the software for their labels.Can't print multiple labels at once because they won't print correctly on the sheet of labels. For example, if you align your printer for 1 label, the rest of the labels won't be aligned. The history only showed 17 tracking labels printed when I had printed 33 labels. Therefore can't request a refund when printing error on the labels not showing in history. Stay away from this software. It is the most frustrating software I ever encountered for multiple mailings. Even if you are just printing one label at a time, it still has bugs and errors. Not worth it!!!!!!!

I originally had a Stamps.com account…

I originally had a Stamps.com account with over $1,800 in available balance. Trying to deactivate my account and request a refund has been an absolute nightmare. I was redirected over five times and had to make more than five calls just to start the process.

As I write this, I am still on hold with Stamps.com, waiting for an agent to process my account deactivation. I never would have imagined such hoops for a service that’s supposed to handle customers professionally.

I cannot, in good faith, recommend Stamps.com, ShipStation, or any of their partners owned by ENDICA.

Don't do business with these people

Signed up, then charging $$22 a month, tried to cancel, you can't cancel, no email or phone #, had to cancel debit card, they then sent email saying update your cc with a no return # or email. Complete scam & rip off . Don't sign up. I'm suing in small claims for money back. They are not even registered as a NYS corp to do business

Our service is used by many types of sellers, offices, businesses, and mailers. We do disclose the monthly service fee and trial period details before any Stamps.com account can be created.

Rest assured that we have closed your account and zeroed out the outstanding balance.  Your satisfaction is very important to us and we have determined that a refund will be given. We have issued a refund in the amount of $45.70 to your credit card. Please allow 3-5 business days for this credit to be applied to your account. The credit may not be reflected immediately on an online statement. Please allow one billing cycle to pass before it is reflected on a paper statement.

Completely unacceptable level of…

Completely unacceptable level of customer service. Real customer service agents unavailable to respond to product and refund issues. Answers to my questions were unavailable on the company website and their AI generated email did not resolve my issue. After I replied to the AI email as instructed I received no further response from the company.

Unable to cancel online. Lost $66 from unwanted charges.

Never wanted their mail subscription service, thought I was on the UPS site (my bad there). Somehow got signed up on a trial and then 3 months of charges on my bank account. When I noticed the charges on my card I was unable to find any way to cancel online.. I’m sure this is intentional!
Finally able to cancel using the 800 number (I think, won’t know for sure until the billing cycle has past).
I would stay away from this company!
