Good service, but rising costs and removal of integrations.
I originally got Stamps.com a few years ago and connected it to my eBay store. It had direct integration to eBay for around $20 per month. And I was able to save money over eBay postage. However, sometime in late 2024, they disconnected eBay and moved this into a more expensive tier per month. I would have to ship way more in order to justify the cost increase. And as such, I stayed on my own original plan and manually entered in shipments. However, the amount of discount versus eBay really disappeared last year, and many times eBay was now cheaper than Stamps, making the service pointless. However, I continued with the service because I used it for personal shipping for sales directly through my website and business. But I have now stopped shipping in such volume and there are other free alternatives that give me just as much discount as Stamps or close to it.
In my opinion, stamps needs to release a very affordable plan for only a couple dollars per month for people who do not do high volume shipping.

The website is easy to navigate
The website is easy to navigate. They have the cheapest rates and most carrier and service options available. You can import your address list into their system, and it's easy to generate reports. Customer service is A++!

Free account holders beware
I’ve tried many times over 24 hours to print 4 different labels. Multiple calls to customer service. In the end it wasn’t worth my time. The usps website worked flawlessly despite being slightly more expensive it was still worth it to have a functioning platform.

The system worked well
The system worked well as far as getting and using postage. I just had a bit of a hassle cancelling the membership, but once after a few online processes I contacted them directly, they took care of it, cancelled and gave me a refund.

Online Easy to use
Easy to use the online system and order what is needed, the Agents are helpful to resolve issues. The Company previously has used the adhesive stamps; this year I needed to order a book of 5 x2 and I was no longer able to order a book of 5 sheets as usual. I had to order in bulk 100 or more and price went up, I have not looked on the site in 6 months, the company stopped using them. If by chance they are still available this would be great and needed. Thank you!

THIS COMPANY IS ENGAGING IN FRAUDULENT SCAM PRICING, I LITERALLY CANCELLED MY PAID SUBSCRIPTION 2 WEEKS AGO YET I JUST WOKE UP TO SEE THEY CHARGED ME AGAIN. LITERALLY 100% FRAUD I AM ESCALATING THIS TO MY BANK AND THE STATE REGULATORS. I HAVE NEVER MET SUCH A DECEIVING COMPANY THAT TRIES TO TRICK AND CHARGE THEIR CUSTOMERS AT EVERY, EVEN AFTER THEY TRY CANCELLING

So far, so good!
We've had the service a few months now and it's been very nice and convenient. The only thing was on the website it won't "weigh" anything more than a certain amount. I need to go to the actual US Postal site to find out the price of a stamp for a higher weight. Not complaining, just an observation. Other than that, so far, so good.

Regarding the weight limit you ran into, First Class Letter postage only covers up to 3.5 oz, anything heavier would need First Class Mail Large Envelope/Flat service, which goes up to 13 oz. They will just try to steel your money
They used to be good, now it's just steeling your money.
Years ago i worked in a few places that used stapms.com. And i personally started using them for a short time, and everything was amazing. Now i wanted to chack shipping prices and i couldn't only if i sign up and i then there website didn't work. I couldn't get clear prices only for things that are blow a pound. Which is not normal. I tried contacting customer service. And no one answered. So i closed my acount. But they didn't accept my cancellation and they charge Me 2 months even though I canceled it again.
Stay away.

I do not like the new version
I do not like the new version. I have to constantly reset my printing settings so that the stamps or labels don't come out landscape. Also, sometimes, it's difficult to select USPS Priority Mail. Not user friendly at all.
