Storeycarpets Avis 

I bought an Ulster carpet from Storey's, I paid top money up front, when the carpet was fitted it was found to be faulty, the manager Matthew inspected and agreed it was faulted, Ulster Carpets also areed it was faulted. Mattew, Storey's manager said leave it with me "I'll get it sorted" he did nothing, (not good customer service) when we pushed fro some progress he then magically "Became unavailable" (not good customer sevice) he then refused to return my telephone calls (not good customer service). Storey's have refused to refund my money (not good customer sevice). I realy do not have a good word word to say about Storey's Carpets and their staff.

Went back for a door mat Matthew the manager remembered us and sorted us out with perfect door mat such a friendly shop to go to

Visited Stockton Store over August Bank Holiday and paid for bedroom carpet -fitting arranged for mid September to allow paint on S. Boards to harden. Had checked in store that the carpet was in stock with no backlog. Delivery date came -no show, no contact. Called store and was advised it wasn't in stock. No previous contact from store. Delivery and fitting then re-arranged for following week. Just rang to check all is well for this happening tomorrow and guess what -no carpet in stock again!! I have asked for full and immediate refund and will go hunt elsewhere. What a useless bunch. I only hope the refund is prompt and for the right amount. I'm not optimistic and can see the small claims court looming!

popped into the stockton store to have a look around, ended up buying some discontinued lvt and three bedroom carpets and some underlay.

paid and as usual fitter came out and measured everything, they organised fitters and it was to be done in three stages as we were getting floor screeded and wardrobes fitted in one bedroom,

fitting day came and there wasnt enough tiles, helen managed to source more, panic over,

ordered a few extra boxes of the discontinued lvt for downstairs cloakroom so it all matched, delivery came took home for fitter, wrong tiles!!!! would there be anymore?

helen sorted, onto stairs and bedroom, all done, next two bedrooms,,,took beds and everything else out and had to sleep on sofas downstairs,waited hourd only to be told by shop they cant get in touch looks like he wont be coming!!! 2nd night slept on sofa, rang store and helen sorted,1.5 hrs later started, now all done and looking great,,

to summarise,,,,,what a shower of ***** problems from start to finish,,when helen wasnt involved,,helen was brilliant from start to finish and resolved every issue even though she hadnt created any of them, i will use storeys stockton again, but only because helens there, THANKS HELEN you saved the day one more than one occassion

Excellent service well happy lovely carpet

Bought dining room carpet on 19/8/22 from the Stockton store. Helen eventually was the assistant who served us .we were in the shop the week previous and an assistant called Jo was our first contact in store. She was marvellous with us and definitely the reason for returning.
Helen was everything that jo was extremely polite, knowledgeable and a pleasure to be served by.
These two ladies are asset’s to your company and will definitely be returning to see them both.

Searching for a new bed for our spare bedroom yesterday in Stockton we first headed to a large bed retailer. Disappointed with what we had been offered we entered Story’s Carpets and were greeted by Jo who suggested we spoke to Matt about beds. Matt took the time to show us all the beds that were available that fitted our spec and we chose one. Jo was able to sort delivery out to Barnard Castle on the day we needed + the bed was 1/3rd cheaper than the price quoted at the other store. So in brief, great customer service and beds available now at very reasonable prices.

We went to the local Storey Carpet shop in Stockton on Tees on 04/06/2012 and found the staff to be very helpful and very polite.
Stephen the sales man who served us was brilliant he took time to show us different carpets and went through the prices for us, we were very pleased at the service we received and we left the store with our new carpet the same day (once we paid for it Stephen went and measured it off the roll and had it cut and ready to go).
We will be using this company again in the future top marks for the customer service and also i would recommend it to others to use.
