Really good guidance to calculate the necessary amounts required and suggested cement, and grout. Had one small issue and the customer service in Ballymount was nothing short of excellent. We visited the new Deansgrange showroom a couple of times and the staff were very helpful. I love the order online of pick up samples service too.

Hi Bernadette,
Thank you for such a thoughtful review! Working out quantities and the right fixing products can be tricky, so we’re really glad our advice took the guesswork out of it for you.
We’re sorry about the hiccup along the way, but delighted the folks in Ballymount sorted it so well. It’s also great to hear you’ve been calling in to Deansgrange. The showroom is still fresh, and kind words like yours give everyone there a real lift.
Being able to try products at home before committing makes such a difference, and we’re pleased it suited you. Best of luck with the finished project!
Warm wishes,
Tile Merchant

Hi Martin,
That’s exactly what we like to hear! Getting every stage right, from the first click to the moment everything lands at your door, takes a lot of people pulling together behind the scenes, so this will mean plenty to them.
Thanks a million for taking the time, and we hope to see you again soon.

Got my samples so quickly and they were so well packaged 🙌 the only fault I would have is that the price on the website can be a little misleading 😏 after travelling out to buy them the price wasn’t per panel they were per meter square, i bought them anyway but this is something i found annoying but it was my fault 🤦🏼♂️

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts, and for giving us such a lovely mention for the speed and care of your delivery. Our team puts real effort into making sure every order reaches you in perfect condition, so that's great to hear.
We're sorry the cost display caused confusion, especially after you'd made the trip to see us. These products are sold by coverage area (m²) rather than individually.
We really appreciate you choosing to go ahead with your purchase, and we hope the finished result looks fantastic!

Good service at shop in Coolock
We had a clear idea of what we wanted, we went to the shop and order the tiles. The process was smooth and the service good. We also bought some other materials with the advise of the seller.
On the day of collection everything was ready.

I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with the customer service provided by Aidan Wong. Communication was extremely difficult - we practically had to drag every word out of him to get even basic information.
When we asked questions, instead of giving clear and helpful answers, Aidan was dismissive and at times seemed to mock us. He repeatedly rolled his eyes when we asked questions, which came across as extremely rude and disrespectful. We felt uncomfortable asking for information, even though we were genuine customers interested in making a purchase.
I would expect a showroom sales executive to be professional, patient, welcoming and willing to explain products and answer customers’ questions. Unfortunately, our experience with Aidan Wong was the complete opposite.
Very poor customer service and an extremely unprofessional attitude. I would not want to be served by him again.

Dear Олеся,
We are particularly surprised by your comments about Aidan, as he is a valued member of our team and is well regarded by many of our customers. We know him to be a friendly and approachable person who is always happy to assist customers with their questions and product choices.
That said, we take your experience seriously and certainly do not want any customer to leave our showroom feeling that they were not treated with the professionalism and respect they deserve. We will discuss your feedback internally with the relevant management team so that we can understand what happened on this occasion.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Product review: SPC flooring
I am happy with the service provided by Tile Merchant, however I am disappointed with the quality of product I purchased.
I bought the Clover Oak SPC flooring to cover the floor in a newly renovated house.
I moved into my house 2 months ago and the floor is already badly scratched and punctured in multiple places. My husband and I are the only occupants of the house, and we are not heavy on our feet.
We take off our shoes most of the time while we're in the house. I cannot understand where the scratches / holes are coming from.
I bought this floor on the basis that it was superior to laminate, but my old laminate floor which was less expensive was much better than this SPC.
I am wondering if other people are having the same problem with SPC or is it just me?!
