customer after sales and delivery service should be far more better. I am still waiting for a call and email when I provided them a call and emaill in relation to 2 broken boxes of tiles upon delivery. The product maybe good but if the after sales is very bad the product's excellence would be down graded with the after sales service. that is something to think about, this days less stress for customers is the true winner than products.,

#### Update:
Dear Liam,
We would like to clarify the situation regarding the return.
You sent a bag of decking clips back to us using An Post. Our warehouse team has checked the relevant dates and CCTV footage, and unfortunately there is no record of the parcel being received. We also checked with our other branches, but nothing was received there through An Post either.
Had you contacted us to arrange the return, we could have organised a DPD collection for you without any issue.
We have also tried to obtain proof of delivery from An Post, but they have advised us that they can only deal with the sender regarding this. We have therefore asked you to contact An Post and provide us with the proof of delivery so that we can investigate the matter further. Unfortunately, we have not received this from you yet.
We simply need confirmation that the parcel was delivered to us before we can resolve the matter appropriately. As soon as we receive the proof of delivery, we will be happy to look into this further.

Order online..went to collect told not in stock. Rang 3 time and emailed no call back. Requested refund no email.back range again advise refund is in train. 5 days and still no refund. Staff in coolock are very nice though they didn't know about online order..

Great to have a company send free samples of products , AI videos have their place but sometimes having the actual product to hand really helps with the decision making .

What a negative experience to say the least. Beware with nationwide delivery it’s not nationwide returns!
I ordered oak wooden panels. When they arrived they were nothing at all like the photos and indeed nothing like oak. While I understand differences in lighting from photos these were 100% darker . I expected a small difference but these were unusable and nothing like the photos.
When I contacted Tile Merchant they first said I could get them picked up for €60 . When I asked them why I had to pay when it was not my fault I was then told actually we don’t do pick ups and you have to return them yourself. I am in Killarney and these panels do not fit in a standard car or jeep. I was told to arrange my own delivery and I would also not be refunded for the original delivery. I am now down €690.00 as I cannot get anyone to deliver them because of the length of the panels (2.90m)
I then called them to discuss it and was told only a manager could assist me but the manager would not pick up the call.
I am extremely disappointed with this treatment and service and would 100% not recommend Tile merchant if you live outside of Dublin.

We do offer free samples through our website, which customers can order before purchasing to check the colour and finish in person. As with any natural wood product, some variation in colour and appearance can occur, and we always recommend viewing a sample before placing an order.
That said, we are concerned to hear that you feel the panels were significantly different from what you expected. The product ordered is our Oak finish, and the images and videos on our website are intended to show the overall colour and appearance.
Our terms and conditions explain our returns policy, including the arrangements for returning large or bulky items.
However, we are sorry that you felt unsupported when trying to resolve the matter and that you had difficulty reaching a manager. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide.

Not recommended
Make sure you don't buy any extra tile boxes if you want to play safe. You can only return them within 14 days even if they are in their original package.
LE: below the proof that Tile Merchant really don't care what happens to their customers after sale.
Since I keep getting replies - dear tile merchant employee, there are other tile shops that don't have an issue with getting back an unopened stock product you purchased from them. All the tilers I got quotes from told me the same thing: get more than you need, the shop will take them back if you order more. And that was the case with my previous renovation when I didn't buy my stuff from you. You, on the other hand, chose to hide behind your ridiculous policy so yes, it might be the industry standard, but it's not the norm... you're one of the exceptions who enforce that policy like I took a bite of the tiles which you already stock.
Stop replying to my review, this is not for you, it's for all the other shoppers who hopefully won't chose you when buying their stuff
It's obvious that there's something wrong with your critical thinking...what part from 'stop replying to my review this is supposed to help other shoppers ' you don't understand?! I don't care about your explanations, I'm sharing my very disappointing experience with your services so that other shoppers don't go through the same issues as I did.

Silviu, your order was placed more than three weeks ago, and our return policy clearly sets out the applicable timeframe for unused products. This is not a policy applied selectively to your order.
To put it into perspective, if every customer ordered substantially more tiles or paving than required with the intention of returning the surplus several weeks later, our warehouse team would have to continuously manage returned stock, inspect products, verify packaging and condition, update stock levels and reorganise warehouse inventory. This is why clear return timeframes are necessary.
We would also encourage you to check the return policies of other tile and paving suppliers carefully, as time limits and conditions for returning surplus materials are common within the industry, even though individual businesses may choose to operate different policies.
We have explained our position and the policy applicable to your order, and we do not believe continuing a public back-and-forth will be helpful to either side.
