Professional, efficient, high quality
We were blown away by our new door install. The quality of the manufacture was excellent. Operatives were professional, left no mess and have left us with a superb entrance to our house. The only thing that let Trent Valley down was the fact my install date was cancelled twice after id booked time off work. Third time lucky.

Trent Vally windows, firstly installed a composite front door for me, I was so impressed with how quickly, neat and tidy and the quality of not just the door but of the workmanship. So I immediately re booked them in to have a window replaced with French doors. This time it was a different team, but equally as efficient and still quality fitting. The service, quality and customer service is second to none. I would absolutely recommend them and will be using their services again for my next project.

I would have left a 5* review, as the whole process from start to final installation ran extremely smoothly with the fitters being polite, extremely competent and neat and tidy throughout, but an issue with the patio door and having a no show to repair on the requisite day.
To be fair, when I reported this issue, TV windows were very apologetic for a clerical error and came out next day and the problem was solved

Disastrous Experience from Installation to a 2-year battle for Legal Certification! Avoid!
Buying from Trent Valley Windows has been a multi-year nightmare. The contract was signed in October 2023, and the entire project was riddled with gross incompetence.
1. Shocking Project Management: The installation took over six months instead of the estimated timeline. Work was cancelled at the very last minute on multiple occasions, disrupting our holidays.
2. Incompetent Design & Mistakes: The designer recommended seven spotlights, but during installation the electrician revealed that the design was physically impossible. We were forced to accept a compromised five-spotlight layout under significant stress simply to avoid further delays. Although the company previously offered a £400 goodwill payment for this issue, the after-sales service turned out to be far worse.
3. A Two-Year Battle for the Building Regulations Certificate: The contract included obtaining the Building Regulations Final Certificate, yet it took over two years after completion before we finally received it. During that time we repeatedly chased both Trent Valley Windows and its parent company, CO Home Improvements.
Only after we escalated the matter to the GGF did we finally receive the certificate. Although CO Home Improvements informed the GGF that the certificate had been issued directly to us on 15 June, we never received it from them. The certificate was eventually forwarded to us by the GGF following its intervention.
The certificate has now finally been resolved, but only after nearly three years of delays, repeated chasing, poor communication and unnecessary stress. I would strongly encourage anyone considering Trent Valley Windows to think very carefully before signing a contract.

We can only apologise if you did not receive this. We acknowledge the GGF advised us this was outstanding on 30 June 2026 and the team sent a copy to you without delay.
We recognise the importance of completing projects fully and ensuring customers receive all relevant documentation, and we are sorry for any inconvenience caused during this process.

We needed a new front door and side…
We needed a new front door and side panel and hoped to be able to get a composite one. Not being 100% sure on what we wanted, if we could afford it and no idea who to use as a supplier, we started by going to the Trent Valley display at the garden centre on Mapperley top. There was an excellent display of doors for us to view and a very helpful sales agent who booked us a sales appointment. The rep who called was very likeable listened to what we wanted and gave us a no bullshit quote so we accepted it. A surveyor called a few days after and again listened to what we wanted to achieve regarding the width of the door and side panel and showed us exactly what we could have. The fitters arrived a couple of weeks later, on time and did a great job, tidied up after themselves and spent time showing us how the locking system worked and how to get any extra keys if we needed them. All payments were very easy to make online with receipts arriving within minutes. So can’t fault the system, service or staff.

Roof glazing panels
Whilst I was cleaning my conservatory roof I noticed that 2 of the glass panels had, under gravity, moved down. I went to my nearest dealership at a nearby garden center and explained my concerns. The rep couldn't have been more helpful. He asked me to email him the details and photos. A few days later, after the weekend, I got a phone call and arranged for a visit. The guy came round but the glass was too heavy for one person to lift. Another phone call and a second visit and my roof panels were back in place within 45 minutes. I feel this was excellent service. Thank you very much

Pressure Sales
Would be far better if they provide a price and give a little time for you to make a decision. I don’t know if it’s worth paying the extra for their windows/doors as didn’t buy them. I felt so hassled and pressured I just wanted them to stop calling in the end.

We had a window that wouldn’t stay locked, Trent Valley came out at a time to suit us and assed the issue, a new part was required which was ordered and fitted quickly again at a suitable time and the fitter was excellent.

Good Installation
All personnel I dealt with seemed professional and the ordering to installation was a reasonable length of time.
The installation was excellent with 2 very good men who, although young (ish), knew precisely what they were doing from the moment they arrived to when they finished. Pleased with the quality of the windows and door particularly the security of the locking mechanisms.

Having reviewed your comments, I can confirm that your original installation was carried out by Trent Valley Window and Door Company Ltd prior to 2018, before that company ceased trading.
Trent Valley Windows is a separate company that commenced trading around that time and, as a result, we do not hold the historical records or documentation relating to your original installation. Unfortunately, this means we are unable to investigate or provide support under any original contract or guarantee that may have existed with the previous company.
However, in an effort to assist, our team has offered to supply the replacement frame glass at cost price and carry out the installation free of charge as a gesture of goodwill.
Should you wish to proceed with this offer or discuss the matter further, please contact our Customer Service team, who will be happy to assist wherever possible.
