LIke the TV adverts, I can really trust a trader on this site
I remembered this platform from the tv adverts and never really thought I would need them as I assumed I would know plumbers through word of mouth, if ever needed. But when I needed one, I couldn't find anyone available through contacts and the plumber I found through this site, had a very easy way of a booking system and did the job well. This reinforces the message in the tv adverts that TrustATrader is a trusted source to go to for finding tradespeople. I would use this service again.

I joined trust a trader as a trader and…
I joined trust a trader as a trader and was very disappointed with there service. At the start they can’t be more helpful getting you to part with your money.
As soon as your onboard there is nothing, no calls, no jobs then you make a complaint and then miraculously you get a job or two come through.
Then to top it off they use your business to promote other traders and put them at the top of the page even though they have you as the trader in the advert.
I was so disappointed I told them to remove all my content even though it lost me money. For a company to do such a low and underhanded thing was very surprising and something I didn’t expect.
I didn’t get this kind of treatment from other well known companies.

Under our Membership Terms and Conditions, we are required to follow our complaints procedure.
As you had only been a member for a short period, we received a customer complaint regarding work carried out by your business.
We reserve the right to suspend a membership where a complaint suggests that the work undertaken may not have met the high standards expected of our members.
We fully appreciate that there are often two sides to a dispute. Accordingly, an investigation and mediation process would normally take place. If the complaint were found to be unjustified, or if a satisfactory resolution were reached, your membership would be reinstated and your annual membership extended to cover any period lost during the suspension.
However, after we contacted you regarding the complaint, you chose not to participate in our complaints process, denied any responsibility for the matters raised, and requested that your membership be terminated.
In these circumstances, we would have terminated your membership as a matter of course, as your actions constituted a breach of the Membership Terms and Conditions.
