I found Universal Lighting Services by pure chance on Google and so glad I did! Absolutely delighted with the taupe lampshades I purchased and even more impressed with the customer service from Debbie which went above any beyond my expectations.

I was looking for lampshades to go with some existing table lamp bases and Universal had exactly the right size & colour I was looking for. The new shades are so much nicer than the original ones and better quality too.

It's clear when reading Universal's previous reviews that this company knows how to do business and treat customers so I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Excellent customer service
I had a courtesy phone call to confirm my order and delivery times.
The lights arrived on time but unfortunately one of them was damaged. I phoned and spoke to George who apologised and arranged straight away for a replacement light to be sent out.
The replacement light arrived on time but this one was also damaged , so it was another phone call to George who was very polite and helpful again and this time arranged to send out the light with a different courier. The third light arrived within 3 days and this time no damage.
We know have two fantastic lights waiting to be fitted into our kitchen refurb.

Having just received our new light, I found the packaging was amazing, the purchase was amazing and the comms through the process was also amazing.

George at Universal Lighting Services Ltd went above and beyond to package and send us a glass lighting component. The care taken to package and ensure it arrived in one piece, was evident. The note within the package further demonstrated the care, interest and high level of customer service. So impressed I looked up Trustpilot just to leave a review - amazing service. Will be shopping here again.

From beginning to end I could not fault this company. Had a courtesy call the day after placing the order, emails to keep me informed, delivered when it was expected, very well packaged and the two table lamps are beautiful.

I ordered 3 beautiful kitchen pendant globes from what looked a very good choice. They telephoned me after I placed the order to confirm details and explain how it will be delivered and which company will deliver and when. It arrived very quickly, packaged very carefully with a lovely note addressed to me. Very good customer care and attention to detail. I will not be able to see them working for a while as not ready to fit them but based on my experience so far I would recommend and use this company again. Many other places could do well to follow in their foot steps,

Please avoid this company. They failed to deliver the product correctly, didn't check it was correct when it left their factory: it was 2 items, a lamp post and lamphead, the lamp head was not included ! - then to quote their MD Sinuhe Yehya, " the error was due to unforseen circumstances .. our (T&C's) specifically state we are not liable for any losses howsoever caused " - they made a massive cock-up by delivering only half the item ordered and paid for, which cost me alot of money. They were incompetent. Then have hidden behind the T&C's buried deep in their basement. Period.

I would highly recommend purchasing your lighting from this business. They stock a fantastic range of lighting for all budgets. I found their customer service to be very helpful, patient and friendly. One of the staff known as Debs, tried her best to accommodate a customer who is quite particular in her requirements. She had a good knowledge of their stock and assisted me in what I needed on behalf of the buyer. Excellent service, excellent lighting and somewhere I will buy all my lighting in the near future. Well done Universal Lighting you have provided a great business for customers X❤

I would highly recommend this company. They were excellent to deal with. My e-mail query was answered very quickly. I received a call thanking me for my order. The items I bought were delivered exactly when I was told they would be and enclosed was a lovely letter thanking me for my purchase. The items were of good quality and reasonably priced. Thank you.

Ordered a light and it was even better than the pictures when it arrived. Communication was fantastic and even got a lovely call to thank me for my order! Will be buying more lights there in the future

Really communicative about the order and when their was a problem with one of the lights it was replaced promptly and easily.

After walking out of my local supplier due to lack of contact I turned to the www and found a supplier in my birth area - Universal Lighting. What a breath of fresh air from George sending me info to Debbie who sent me my order the service was stellar. I only wish I lived nearer, nothing was too much trouble, even a phone call on Saturday telling me my order was packed and ready to be shipped. When excellent customer services comes as standard to Universal Lighting other companies had better up their game. Will I use them again - YES
