It took about 1 minute to change supplier having spent a bit of time reviewing all options with all suppliers . Was with Eon years ago and had good experience

Excellent service.

The website swiftly found me a new fixed term, saving £20 a month.

The switch over details were mostly all filled in and, from start to finish the application to move across to E-On took 2 minutes.
Highly recommend checking what you can save on Uswitch.

Had a car insurance quote through…

Had a car insurance quote through switch and when I went on the best price which was through corncrake the quote more than tripled. I know its not uswitches direct fault but if they want the commission then they should check some of the insurers and take them out of their list.

We want to clarify that we are a comparison website and do not set the prices ourselves and our panel of insurers are authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority and we do complete regular due diligence on these insurance companies.

All the premiums displayed are calculated and provided directly by the insurance companies on our panel. They determine the cost based on statistics with similar details, and their rates can change frequently.
To help figure out why your price has changed, please first check for these common changes:
- Did the payment method change from annual to monthly?
- Did you add or upgrade any optional extras? (e.g. add legal cover, add/upgrade breakdown cover, upgrade courtesy car to hire car)
- Did you upgrade the cover level? (e.g. change from ‘Bronze’ to ‘Gold’)

If none of those steps explain the change, please email complaints@help.confused.com with the following details so we can investigate with the insurer directly:

The process in switching was easy but l…

The process in switching was easy but l just spent an hour watching the screen saying completing your switch with the waiting circle kept circling it was only when l received a pop up notification from my previous suppler that l realised the switch had gone through

Company did not switch through uswitch…

Company did not switch through uswitch and fuse asked for an upfront payment or £100 and change of advertised kw rate to continue the switch claiming that i have a bad credit rating which is a lie. suspected fraudsters as asking for what amounts to 3 months upfront. Seems like comparison site knows this but hides behind the small print.
