Can't replace a kitchen door without buying full units. So if anything happens after purchase you are stuck with the whole lot! They buy from an outside supplier and do not stock the spare parts.

Buying paint in Ponte
Popped into Pontefract branch of Wickes on Sunday for some paint.
Although I chose the colour I wanted. I needed help buying the right type (apparently you need special paint for bathrooms. . . I know it's obvious when you think about it!).
A nice lady called Deb was very helpful ensuring I bought the right paint for the job.

Absolute star!
Was having a very bad day and had to get some diy items from Wickes. After I had selected the items and took them to the till I realised to my horror that my wallet was at home 15miles away. Deb was very, very patient and tried showing me how to use my phone to pay but it wouldnt work. Deb then offered to pay for the items if I could transfer the money to her via the banking app. Deb is an absolute diamond and a credit to your company. I cannot praise Deb enough.

Hate DIY...Love Ponty Wickes!
As someone who thinks D.I.Y means "damage it yourself" I always dread going to hardware stores as I've no clue what I'm doing...Deb from Pontefract Wickes made my experience a very pleasant one and made sure I left with just what I needed, as well as a massive smile on my face as a bonus. She is an absolute legend and is a credit to Wickes!

Good customer service
Brandon at the pontefract store was excellent in helping me today, I rang to double check something was in store as online it mentioned the stock but was sold out in store earlier in the week.
Brandon confirmed the stock, when I arrived he helped in locating it in the back as there was none on the shop floor .
Left a happy customer - thank you Brandon!
