My shower drain was broken , after a few visits from Yorkshire housing it was decided to put in a new floor. I'm so chuffed with the results .and the colour choice I picked , it matches everything in my bathroom. The staff are all helpful . Good service. That's why I've given you 5 stars. Well done . Also praise for the 2 young men that laid the flooring. 🙂

Don't ever complain twice about a similar issue or you might end up with an informal warning for any of these

The unreasonable behaviour policy outlines that behaviour such as:

Persistent refusal to accept decisions or explanations,

Continual contact without presenting new information, and

Unsubstantiated allegations or personal insults,
may be considered unreasonable and subject to formal action if informal steps do not lead to improvement.

Yorkshire Housing think customers are clairvoyants and things don't change over time between one complaint sent months ago to a recent one

I advise anyone considering this Housing Association to avoid at all costs you will thank me for the advice.

I've been a tenant of Yorkshire Housing for over 10 years. I've had so many issues with the staff simply dragging their feet when it comes to getting back to me. One incident took over 3 months to be resolved and they never reached out to me. Instead I was always chasing them. I recently requested information regarding my tenancy and was told I'd be contacted in 5 working days. I pointed out that my need for this information was very urgent. It's been over two weeks and I still haven't heard from them.

Bad bad housing association, I emailed ceo over a house to rent, it was passed into 4 diffrent managers, tyen I got a offer letter before I'd even viewed which I was waiting for, no organisation or care, complaint raised not impressed , not a good landl9rd,

Excellent service provided by Ellie Moxon housing officer. Provided support and re- assurance through the process.

Ellie was great.she more than helped me gather all the paperwork I needed and was very patient as it took a while.explained everything in detail and how everything worked.but most of all shared my joy with me when I was accepted for the property.

We spoke and delt with Ellie moxen, through the full tenancy presses. Ellie was very professional and polite and answered all our questions we put forward even advised us on the transition from old property to the new property , we are very happy with the service we was provided .

this company is the best housing association i have been with and I cannot thank Mia specifically enough for all the help and support she has given me in securing my tenancy. Yorkshire housing is one of the worst places I've lived it took them 5 years to fix a leaking roof and I've noticed they use cheap materials in winter my flats freezing and when you phone up to make a complaint your stuck in a queue and a repair takes 14 days to get a dripping tap fixed but I've noticed about Yorkshire housing they no were you are when they need your rent money i got £40 decorating voucher after experience a leaking roof nearly 3 years

Yorkshire Housing!! So glad we moved out of their property worsed landlords ever. The customer service handlers do keep proper records, takes months to get a repair done, and they ignore child safety concerns. They have let a family of 4 children sleep in one bedroom. And they have filled the flats in the cul de sac which was meant for over 55's, with anti social tenants blaring loud music. Now they are taking the mick with rent just putting them up & up every year and providinga crap service. We are more than happy to be finished with them, we don't have to deal with morons anymore.

Had my assessment with Ellie today, I’ve been an absolute mess for a week wondering what was going on making myself sick with worry. But as soon as Ellie called me and we started talking I instantly relaxed and was happy to be offered a new home for me and my family! Well done Ellie and keep up the wonderful work you do!
