Yorkshire Housing Avis 

Yorkshire Housing new portal is a nightmare. I have been locked out of my account for over two weeks now.None of the advisers seem to be able to help me,in fact I feel like I am going round in circles with them,with no one able to get me back into my account. The old website was good no problems at all this new portal is a total nightmare. The old saying is if it isn't broken don't try to fix it.

Abid was polite and helpful throughout the call. He did not have a definate answer to my question but instead of giving me a vague and incomplete answer he went away and promptly got the information i required. Abid also talked me through registering with the customer portal to make life easier in futre. Yorkshire Housing need more Abid's manning the phones, he is an assett to your company. Thank you Abid.

My son and I have recently become tenants of Yorkshire Housing. But so far, so brilliant. I myself am a brain injury survivor, as such I have both physical and cognitive impairments, I struggle with processing new information and following instructions. Even with my impaired cognitive function, Both Vicky and Becky have gently and patiently guided me through becoming a tenant and have explained how many services (beyond housing) are now available to me and my son. Our new flat is aesthetically pleasing and in good repair and the additional security which is afforded us, already has me feeling like I am entering a happy and safe stage in my life. Thanks to all involved, I’m genuinely grateful for everything you’ve done and I can’t recommend you highly enough.

After falling asleep on my medication I missed yesterday's emergency appointment to repair my open stuck bedroom, and ended up sleeping with it open all night, twas a chilly experience but and unnerving as I live in a high crime mountain estate. Fair play to Yorkshire Housing who responded early in the morning to resolve the issue, the operator Abid was very helpful, informative and very efficient at summing up my situation, as it is a ground floor flat and understood the security concerns, the repairs team responded within the alloted time to which I apologised for the tardiness on my behalf from yesterday and the gentleman was saying that no apology was necessary.
He promptly fixed the issue within fifteen minutes, lubricated the other windows to ensure that they didn't suffer from seizure and left total time twenty to thirty minutes.
Honestly flabbergasted at the efficiency and brilliance the result of the entire organisation, after being a long term Tennant of seventeen years Iv never had an emergency repair requirement, but if it does arise in the future I know that I'm in safe hands with Yorkshire Housing, Awsome job and great teamwork from Yorkshire Housing and setting the standards of great customer satisfaction within the letting industry. Thank you Yorkshire Housing, please stay brilliantly awesome.

Best customer service explained how to sign up to my portal as i haven't done it before because i didn't know what it was for and he explained perfectly! This is my first home i live in on my own and yorkshire housing have been so good with any issues i have felt.

I couldn't recommend Yorkshire Housing enough! I have been talking to Mollie French regarding my house move and she has always been so friendly, helpful and thorough with the information provided. I'm a classic worrier and overthinker, but nnothing has been too much for Mollie to assist me with, I've always felt like she's considered my needs and made me feel so comfortable. I'm really looking forward to being a Yorkshire Housing tenant!

I waited all day for some one to come about my damp and mould problem I had an appointment between 8am and 12 noon but no body came I spoke to a very nice man who sorted the problem out for me and arranged another appointment for me he was very thorough and helpful nothing was too much trouble for him.

We are incredibly grateful for the outstanding support and compassion shown by the housing manager Adele (at St Edwin’s Croft, Barnsley) throughout the process of rehousing my Nan. From the very beginning, she demonstrated genuine care, patience, and professionalism, making what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and reassuring.

She took the time to truly understand my Nan’s needs and circumstances, ensuring that she was placed somewhere that is not only comfortable, but also safe and well-suited to her lifestyle. Adele’s communication was clear and consistent, and she were always approachable and willing to answer any questions we had.

Thanks to her dedication and attention to detail, my Nan now has a lovely home where she feels secure, happy, and safe. It has made such a positive difference to her quality of life, and for that we are deeply thankful.
