Young Driver Avis 

Hugh was the fire truck driving instructor for my 11 year old Nephew. A wonderfully calm, friendly and patient man who made the experience exactly what it should have been, fun and memorable.
Smiles for miles!!

All staff were friendly, instructions were clear and easy, location (the old Top Gear track) is always going to be a hit for young and older petrol heads alike. Booking online was easy with follow up emails detailing further information and contact info for the company.

This wasn't first time to driving experiences at this venue and it never fails to impress.

My daughters was nervous about driving, but her instructor Sam put her at ease right away. My daughter is now really looking forward to starting her driving lessons.

My 9 year old was very nervous. But he had a great instructor called Babrak. He was very patient and very kind. Had a great time.

Top marks for booking, venue and vehicles. Unfortunately the instructor did not tailor the session to the learners needs as requested in writing at the time of booking. Very much a bums in seats and do a bit of everything to impress the parents exercise. This resulted in our daughter feeling stressed, overwhelmed and that she had not really learnt anything. The instructor did not identify goals and needs or structure the lesson, they just went off on autopilot. After the drive we went to the reception desk to discuss the session but the otherwise polite and friendly staff had already packed up and left the building. All a bit of a shame really ☹️

Took my son to what I thought were driving lessons. Nobody to greet you when you get there, reception is hidden and had to be shown by a member of public. I wanted my son to learn manual gears so paid for manual. There are so many cars there that they stay in second gear and just drive round at walking pace so only learn how to steer. Be better go go kart racing, they go faster. The feedback I heard everybody giving was exactly the same line. They tried selling an in car video but never asked if wanted another lesson, which would've been no.

**THEIR RESPONSE**
A lady responded, saying 'Well everybody else was ok', which is shocking. Also said, they shouldn't drive 'at speed', I don't know 1, That 3rd gear is 'at speed' and 2, where I mentioned 'at speed', and she said her signage and instructor feedback are perfectly fine, so no issues then as far as she's concerned.

My 16 year daughter tried this driving experience and really enjoyed the 30 minute session . She's driven before at Barton Stacey, Winchester and now Eastleigh . Eastleigh is a smaller venue, but still great as an introduction into driving. The instructors are always friendly, calm, and put nerves at ease. I would highly recommend Young Driver to any child wanting to know what its like to drive and understand how to safely.

A fantastic experience for my 12 year old son. We have already booked his second lesson and look forward to returning. Thank you to Instructor Paul and the team at Aberdeen today 18/10/26.

Bought a voucher for my daughters birthday the first booking was cancelled the day before due to driver illness the second booking was cancelled while we were standing at the venue as they had double booked - I then received an email saying it was due to driver illness but I was there and knew the truth. I've had to contact twice now for a refund and still waiting. While my child's not quite crying she is a bit disappointed.

My daughter loved her hour long driving lesson today at Haydock Park, Liverpool. She was nervous before the lesson. This is the second lesson she has had with Amanda the instructor. Amanda quickly made her feel at ease. She is smiley, friendly and encouraging. She makes lessons fun. I would definitely recommend Young Driver and Amanda to everyone!

Zain was awful and yelled at my daughter for nearly the entire lesson, which was her first driving lesson. He should not be teaching.

The instructor was patient and kind with my son and it felt like a proper little diving lesson. Just wish it was a lot longer!

Our young driver really enjoyed the one hour session. The instructor was spot on with him. We will be back.

The welcome staff at the reception table however looked like they hated their jobs and made the start of the visit very uncomfortable and unwelcoming.

Professional friendly instructors, choice of locations in the area and cars well maintained. Safe environment for learners 10/10
