The desk is excellent
The desk is excellent, table top finish is excellent, frame has very solid construction, and is stable even at 120cm high. Two downsides: The instructions didn't match my desk quite right... so I needed to just wing it and put screws where they'd fit. It also looked like some parts had already been partially assembled, maybe QC? The control unit also had a sticky label on it which has left bits of gunk on the buttons. Would definitely recommend to a friend

Sturdy
The standing desk was a long time item on my mind with WFH settings. I recently had a chance to finally buy one. Though I am not al all regretted, the only upsetting thing for me is about not buying the ground mat to stand up. Desk is perfectly sturdy, a bit heavier than I had in mind but as it works quite well and delivers its promises, I wouldn't complain. The only thing is it becomes tiring when I stand up too much, which is again related to not buying any kind of ground mat etc. with it.

Would be 5 stars however the wrong colour was delivered. On a positive note after calling and getting through on the phone quickly Y0Yo immediately dispatched the right colour and picked up the incorrect one at no cost.

Average
Good - Desktop is solid, frame is very good quality. Motor is quiet and smooth. The functionality is great and is really helping me with working and staying mobile while on the computer all day.
Bad -
Building it is hard work and I struggled with it alone. The worktop is extremely heavy and flipping it over at the end was panic inducing.
It arrived with a black mark in the centre of a white desktop, also scratches and dirt along one edge. The plastic power cable connector clip was snapped in the box and no replacement was sent.
Their website claims that they updated this model to have predrilled holes after customer complaints but mine still did not have them, almost screwed the frame into the top the wrong way around as it needs to be flipped over at the end.
The control box is very flimsy and loose, a weak plastic box with only two screw holes to hold it onto the worktop. I'm not convinced that it will last long.
Customer service offered a partial refund very quickly after I complained, I turned down a replacement top as disassembling / replacing / rebuilding a replacement would be a massive hassle. It was hard enough doing it once. They could have sent a replacement clip though.
Overall I love the desk, but mainly because I received the money for it through a disability grant. If I had paid the (high) full price myself I would have been extremely disappointed.

Unfortunately, due to the size, desktops can occasionally arrive damaged when they go through the courier system, however we're pleased that you able to accept our partial refund offer.
Despite some of your concerns raised in the review, we're delighted that you love the desk and are sure that you will reap the many benefits that a standing desk has to offer.

Marvellous kit, expert fitter
When I started looking at Yo-Yo Desks I did not know that you could use your own desktop and they would remove the legs and install the up and down frame. That saved me a substantial amount of money which was a delight. The fitter arrived bang on time and was done in 40 minutes. He showed me the main features of the control panel and it is so simple to use. I love this desk and just wish I had bought one when I first started working from home 3 year ago. The motor is smooth and quiet. I think it may even be better than the ones in the office.

Great product and customer service highly responsive when problem occurred
Bought 6 desks in recent years but for last order of 3 one arrived with screws missing. Called customer service and 1 week later still no screws. Very aggravating indeed. However now been sent full replacement so all sorted which is great.

A really great product
A really great product and with the half price sale, it was a bargain. I've tried to find faults but I cant really. Ok yes would be been lovely for it to be electric powered but then it would have cost a lot more. Now I alternate sitting & standing & 'the back' is thanking me for it. Keep up the good work Yo-Yo'ers

Excellent quality desks!
Nice sturdy desk, easy to self assemble. All just worked out of the box. Only let down was with the shipping company that damaged one corner of the desk. Contacted customer services and was given a partial refund as the damage wasn't significant. Refund was given no quibbles, just some phots for proof of damage. Great company easy to speak to customer service and a great product overall!

Yo-Yo Desk was an easy website to navigate to check the product range. Packaging was solid so product arrived undamaged. Fairly easy to finish the assembly, although couldn't see on the assembly details where the Frame Protectors (parts I & J) go. Happy with using it during my first few weeks.
