I find this blog humourous and interesting with many useful explanations etc that I've never come across before. I've read many blogs about the German language but this is the one I keep coming back to. It's always entertaining in a way that makes even harder grammatical concepts more interesting. Also it seems very relevant for current and colloquial usage which is useful if you want to chat with native German speakers.

This site is great for learning German. Not only do you learn vocabulary and grammar, but Emanuel give background on word origin and fun facts about the evolution of a word that makes learning much more interesting.

This is one of the best blogs I've come across as I am learning German. the approach he takes to really dive deep into a word, it's background, and all the multiple other words that are built upon the base word is unbelievably helpful. And if you subscribe, he has an AI Tools section integrated into his website, which has a sentence corrector built in. so you can type a sentence, and it'll give you feedback on the mistakes you made and corrections needed. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone who wants to really learn German as a compliment to other more traditional learning methods.
