I'd tried 2 car insurance agents & ALMOST given up.....
I'd tried 2 car insurance agents who both quoted me monthly payments well OUTSIDE my budget (Swinton & Churchill.) i was left thinking my age was against a more realistic quotation. THEN i looked again in "Yellow Pages" & immediately saw AGE UK & Help the AGED united. My call was answered almost immediately by a very helpful, polite man, who might well have been in my age group. There was zero "pressure" & i was able to take my time in answering his questions. Payment by debit card "sealed the deal" & documents sent by post, which i prefer, Thank you L&V. I had already got a quote online from…
I had already got a quote online from this company and got a polite reminder a week later that it was about to expire. Not feeling too confident myself with the responsibility of buying the perfect cover for us I contacted them as I had a few questions,
Spoke to Chelsea who answered my queries ( turned out I had booked exactly what we needed but still wanted to be reassured by a person with knowledge, She was polite , helpful and guided me through the purchase of the policy. Also would like to add that the automated payment system was neither intimidating or rushed and I was reassured to be told that should I flatter or make an error at any point she was still on the line for assistance,

Person on the phone was very helpful and I had no compunction in changing to them but the only problem is I am waiting for paperwork so I can see what or not I am insured for!!

Competitive price, nice to be able to speak to someone!
Got a car insurance quote online but couldn't retrieve it once I'd saved it, however when I called age UK, she was able to retrieve this easily using my phone number, so I didn't have to answer the questions again. Price was £100 cheaper than my renewal quote from another company. I was able to purchase this straight away. Nice to be able to speak to a human being and a very lovely lady too.

I used AgeCo for travel insurance, The policy was actually insured with AllClear travel insurance who are a very reputable travel insurance company so i was happy to go ahead. All my medical conditions were covered as well as the usual holiday things like loss of baggage, personal belongings and cancellation and delays. The policy is very comprehensive at a reasonable price so I'm glad i picked up the leaflet at my local AgeCo charity shop i can now go on my holiday in June with peace of mind.
