I've used these cards for a number of years and never had an issue. The registration process and steps you have to go through to enable and use online are a little complicated. However you really need to read and follow the steps. I've deducted a star due to this, other than that I've not had any issues.
Can't confirm online payment
I have tried numerous times to buy something since card activation but the confirmation message never comes through to authorize payment.....sick of it
Impossible to use
Took a month of emails and calls to activate my card while they took another 3 Euros off it. I still can't get into my account on their website even after all the time on calls. The activation process is awful.
So frustrating to deal with.
These were given as presents to my wife and were declined when she tried to use them. Apparently there was 3 Euro been taken off them every month but there was no mention of that until the call today.
There are much better cards to gift people with that don't rob 3 Eeros a month from you if you don't use it.

Card does not work for online payments although everything is set up.
A lot of work just to spend ur money.

The worst verification system I have ever met. I never again want to see an Allgo card. Between registration, account registration, balance checking and everything else about this company, it is a complete waste of time. Really maddening to use.

Had a couple of issues between activating, loss of card and cancelling re-issued card but the team were more than helpful and quick in response to get me sorted. Can’t thank them enough especially Catriona!

Terrible! The Get My eCard application doesn't display the 6-digit security code of the digital card. I'm not able to create an account on allgo getmybalance and to register it for 3DSecure.

I'm trying to get a refund at this stage.

This is my 2nd year with Allgo, and due to a error my side, this year, allgo spent a lot of time successfully sorting out the error, it was much appreciated.

Utter incompetence from this company. Website doesn't function, verification emails don't work or are blank and the costumer support are beyond useless. I'm unable to access the funds on my card. AVOID!
Most Horrendous so called customer service for Allgo cards
Tried to get my card registered so that it can be activated to be used but found out with NO help from ALLGO that I needed a special code to activate the card.It kept saying to contact Allgo Customer service by phone or email so I Did
Call and emailed so called customer service a number of times but NO answer so I checked their Website and it shows FIND US so I did and went to their company address and would you believe it they DONOT deal with clients at reception and would NOT come out to me and only communicated by email as I sat in their reception that's THEIR customer service
very poor service and notified my company of this along with a number of other staff expeirancing same problem so for the future to deal with a different company.
I got it sorted by calling the lost card phone number and sorted literally two mins by a gentleman

Avoid! Do not use them under any circumstances. When paying, they do not send an SMS to confirm the payment, then everyone arrives at once. And at the same time, this site is blocked and it is no longer possible to pay on it with this card. Thus, this company keeps the money on the card for itself. Their phone support is below 0 par. 1.5 hours - no one answered, the call was constant. 2 hours passed and they deigned to answer the call - and as a result, I myself have to contact Mastercard so that they unblock the site that they closed. You understand? This company provides gift services but does nothing? Fantastic! Like, excuse me, but can I buy this on another site? Run away from them as far as possible. And the employer who gives these cards - at least find out what you are giving - and look at the rating of this company, is it worth giving them money?
P.S.
as you saw, they responded to the letter - solve your problem yourself using Mastercard support.
In the evening I logged in from another computer, before that update the 3D protection, as the girl advised me when I got through after a 2-hour call. She said maybe it would help. + another computer and IP address respectively. And the payment went through. But, still, I do not recommend giving you such gift stress.
The only reason is that I managed to buy what I wanted at a promotional price - they have a very weak third-level star.
Worst thing I encountered in a while
Worst thing I encountered in a while. Spent few hours activating bloody thing, then realized that I need code from a company to unlock it. Also the need to provide your personal information is utter BS. But the worst thing is that unlike with one4all here you can't go above the balance and pay the rest with you usual card. Also guess what, you can't even use it to transfer money to Revolut or any other online bank. AVOID AT ALL COST, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GET ONE4ALL.

Can't get beyond creating the account and then adding the card.
Drop down menu under action only allows for card removal or not.
Have emailed allgo for help in trying to find where to enter activation steps, surname and code, got the same response back as is on their website.
Have used other gift cards in the past with no difficulty, surprized that the help staff could not put a bit more effort in and actually help.
Have emailed allgo again in an effort to activate the card, but to be honest it looks like this gift card does not allow for simple and trouble free activation.

Very Poor Experience: No Customer Service
My card was declined in Dunnes stores despite being validated and having the full amount on the card. Myself and my wife were very embarrassed & had to pay cash as we had no other option
The Card was tried at multiple tills & the supervisor said that they had declined 4 cards in 4 days that were presented.
When I called Support there was no response & the next day they said they could not take calls. You had to send an email that would be looked at in 24hrs. The sell these to companies at Christmas then dont staff their lines appropriately or communicate to customers if there are issues.
This is not good enough. Allgo is marketed as a Card you can spend anywhere, Nonsense.
This will be my 1st & Last experience with Allgo.ie
Wish I could vote zero stars
Wish I could vote zero stars. No support to speak of. Issues adding the card to Apple wallet. 'Support' first suggested trying all the things I already tried to get it working - despite telling them I tried all of these before sending the email. They stopped answering my emails and have not answered any of my 10 + calls. Edit: after trying every phone number I could find for them, again still nothing. At this stage i would prefer to pay the tax on it in wages.
