Beautiful necklace!
Beautiful necklace, chunky but not too heavy. Sits on the perfect spot on my collarbone. Customer service was super helpful when the delivery company could not get onto my complex property- they ensured that the gate code was provided to them so my piece could be delivered.

Definitely not worth the money
Definitely not worth the money. You can’t even see the Medusa stamp in the metal, it’s shallow and blurred. Don’t waste your money.

This company uses deceptive marketing as “an Italian brand.” When the snipping label was created, the item shipped from China. The company’s response was the they “never claimed to ship from Italy and the item was designed in their Italian studio.” Aside from their terrible customer service, the item itself smelled strongly of plastic likely because it arrived in shrink wrapped plastic. No way is this fine jewelry. If you want a full refund you are expected to pay the cost.

Apollonia is an Italian brand, designed and conceived in Italy. However, we have never claimed anywhere on our website that our pieces are physically manufactured in Italy. Like countless jewelry brands worldwide, we work with international production partners. This is a common and transparent practice in the industry, not something we conceal.
Regarding the smell, pieces shipped in protective plastic wrapping can sometimes carry an odor upon arrival, but this has nothing to do with the quality of the materials. We understand it can be surprising and we're genuinely sorry the unboxing didn't feel premium.
On the return process, our policy is clearly stated on our website and we'd be happy to look into your situation personally if you reach out to us. We want every customer to feel heard.
The Italian pieces come from China
The Italian pieces come from China! It takes a long time for them to reach destination as you can imagine. They are made of kind of metal NOT silver. If you want to return you need to send the piece to Italy and cover expenses, which is so expensive it defeats the purpose. Do NOT waste your money.

That said, we have never stated on our website that our jewelry is made in Italy, and we'd invite anyone to verify this directly. Working with international manufacturing partners is standard practice across the jewelry and fashion industry.
On the materials, our pieces are not marketed as silver. We use quality metal alloys and this is reflected in our product descriptions. We'd encourage customers to read listings carefully before purchasing.
We hear you on the return shipping costs and we understand the frustration. It's something we're actively looking to improve, and we're always open to working something out with customers who contact us directly.

This is NOT an Italian jewelry store as advertised. They are a seller from China. When I confronted them about this after seeing the tracking information, they sent back an AI response claiming to have an "international workshop, which is why the shipping origin may appear as China on the tracking."
I tried canceling the order and then disputed it. Days later it arrived. The necklace is solid, but it was plastic wrapped in a way I've never seen a piece of jewelry. Now the company is threatening me in my email.

What we have never claimed is that our pieces are physically produced in Italy, and anyone visiting our website will find no such statement. We work with international partners for manufacturing, which is something many brands do openly.
We're sorry the explanation you received earlier didn't feel satisfactory. We should have communicated this more clearly from the start and that's on us.
Regarding the threatening emails, we take this very seriously. That is not how we operate or how we want any customer to feel. We'd like to investigate this internally and we'd appreciate it if you could contact us directly so we can look into what happened. No customer should ever feel intimidated, full stop.
