Oven saved b y a tiny box !!!!!!!!

Christmas was a headache, I had the whole family here for dinner. YUP!! Turkey was NOT done on time. Cookies made... BURNED !! Oven either to hot or two cold. Thank goodness for our microwave, to finish the turkey.

Once our Appliance Master service rep. came, figured out what was wrong, ordered the part, heaven since. Nothing ruined. Unless I did it myself (of course) LOL

I have used Appliance master for decades, they have always come through for me, and have solved what ever problem I have had. One word for them, would be QUALITY !!!!

Do it yourself, it can be gratifying

Appliance master not only improperly diagnosed my problem but when I pointed out their error the refused to refund their fee. See their response below. Notice they very carefully state that they did give me a diagnosis and therefore where entitled to keep my payment. What they do not say is they were completely incorrect. Bottom line is I did some research online, properly diagnosed the problem, ordered the replacement part and fixed the washing machine myself in less than one hour. It was actually quite gratifying.

"However, the part that the technician diagnosed at the time of your appointment is #1 in the parts diagram.
That part, in both colors is discontinued. The technician would need that control panel in order to complete the repair. The part that you supplied is the user interface.

After reviewing your charges the only thing you have paid is $69.95 which is our service fee for a diagnosis on a General Electric appliance.
Since we supplied you with a diagnosis we will not be refunding our service fee.

Same day service. Excellent repair.

I had a Pyrex baking dish explode in my oven sending shattered glass throughout my oven. I made an appointment the next day and the serviceman showed up right on time. He took apart the oven floor, cleaned up all the glass, checked everything for safety and only charged me their minimum fee. I would not hesitate to call them again.

I would not use them again

I am really surprised this review was sent to me as it took 4 visits before my dryer was repaired. It is now operating perfectly. I really believe it was a personnel issue. My dryer had a strange smell but was was getting hot and drying the clothes. Repairman came said the smell was lint fires, he cleaned everything took 1 1/2 hours n left. I used the dryer and now it had a different odor. He came back and said something had dislodged and it was venting inside the dryer. He fixed it, apologized and left. I used the dryer it was ice cold. Same guy returned and said some part had worn out ( like my patience). I called the company they sent a new repairman who was here less than 15 minutes and all is well. The company was very responsive so I give them credit

Will never use this service again.

Promised service was not delivered in a timely manner. Washer model and specific parts needed were discussed upon initial phone contact. Service tech was sent not even knowing that he was to repair a washer, and without the necessary part. It took several days for tech to return (he was sick, but there was no one to sub for him). When new part was installed, tech rocked the machine to demonstrate the automatic leveling feature. This dislodged the hose drain, so that the next wash load flooded my house and leaked into my finished basement. Never again will I call Appliance Master.

Thy showed up on time and did a great job. Very honest, took care of a minor problem for a reasonable fee.
