I ordered a ceiling lamp and it was delivered within 13 days. I read poor reviews after I had placed my order and was a bit worried. Luckily I cannot complain. I got regular updates without prompting and time frame. The lamp arrived on time and it was well-packed. It looks as beautiful as in the pictures on the website.

Don’t be fooled by the website, these are poor quality products shipped from China. Cheap, plastic and impossible to return unless you want to pay the shipping back to China. If only I’d seen the reviews on this website before I wasted my money. Please think twice before buying from this company.

They are a Chinese business posing as a UK company with a UK trading address. The items are of poor quality and if you want to return the item you have to ship the items to CHINA at your own cost. This is against the law in the UK. They are refusing to cover postage and as such I’m having to raise a chargeback because of this, its extremely difficult to deal with them. Purchase elsewhere - not this junk

Don’t trust this company - it’s cheap tat from China with a fancy website.

Took weeks for delivery (as you would expect), and items arrived faulty. Despite long distance selling regulations customer services just ignored us. So we ultimately had to do a charge back via our credit card provider to get our money back.

Unsurprisingly the credit card provider found in our favour and reimbursed us. Ashbury Home then got back in touch asking us to ask our credit card provider to reverse the decision and they would reimburse us - i didn't believe a word. Clearly very unethical business practices going on here.

Regret shopping with this company - will never use them again.

I placed my order and almost immediately received an email to inform me that my order may be delayed?
In total I waited 18 days and it turns out that this company although registered in the UK ships stock direct from China!
The item that finally arrived is ok... but there was no mention on their website that shipping would take so long. I would not use again!

Ordered 2 wall lights, very clear Comms throughout. One of the bulbs that came with the light was faulty, I reported it and it got resolved pretty quickly and a new bulb was sent to me. Good service will use again.

Terrible experience, you can’t return anything. They claim it’s because they are eco but everything is from China.

I wanted to return two lamps but they refused to. It is crazy, I would buy from them hopefully this is a good warning for people

This company is a scam. They put on their website that returns are welcome within 100days but that is an absolute farce as the requirements are to return the item to china. Do not buy from this company.

I ordered 3 lights all very low quality!!!!!!

Any returns must be send to China, meaning your stuck with the lights unless your prepared to pay for the cost of shipping all the way to China, which is will wipe out the or severely reduce the value of the refund - if you ever receive it.

My fault for not looking into them - Please don't make the same mistake I did.

Made a similar mistake and didnt research this company properly. Wanted a light fitting quickly. Shipping from China even though said fast shipping. Haven't received it yet and realise complete waste of money. Avoid this company.

I purchased a Low Profile Round LED Ceiling Light, which took two weeks to arrive. Unfortunately, the quality was extremely poor. I’m not an electrician, but even I could see that the product was substandard and not what I would expect for the price.

I then contacted their so-called customer service team, which was an equally frustrating experience. It took around half a dozen emails just to obtain a return address. To make matters worse, the return address is in China, meaning I’m expected to pay the cost of returning a faulty, poor-quality product.

Overall, a very disappointing experience—from the quality of the product to the lack of customer service and the unreasonable return process. I would not recommend this company.

Took ages to arrive and then they do everything possible to prevent you from returning the item. 5 emails and apparently I need to send two photos to prove I have the item before I can return it, the item was of very poor quality.

Had to keep chasing for a delivery update. They do respond but with a load of meaningless waffle.
Finally received the package today.
I will never order from them again and can only advise others to consider looking elsewhere. I couldn’t find anywhere on there site that the product comes from China, and if I had then I would have ordered from elsewhere.
Buyers beware!!

I placed an order with Ashbury Home Living a month ago. The item was damaged in transit and was never delivered. I have confirmation of this directly from Evri.

Despite this, Ashbury Home Living are refusing to send a replacement or issue a refund while they conduct an “investigation” with their courier.

This is completely unacceptable. I am not a party to Ashbury Home Living’s relationship with Evri. I am their customer. I paid Ashbury Home Living for an item, they have not delivered it, and a month later I am still being expected to wait while they resolve an issue with the courier they chose to use.

In the meantime, I am out of pocket, my project has been delayed, and I have repeatedly had to chase for information. I’ve been passed from person to person, given deadlines for updates that have then been missed, and encountered an astonishing lack of urgency about resolving something that should be extremely straightforward.

Their priority appears to be protecting themselves from a potential loss with their courier before putting things right for the customer who has already paid them. That is an appalling way to handle customer service.

The facts are very simple: I ordered and paid for an item. Ashbury Home Living failed to deliver it. They know it was damaged in transit. Yet a month later, they are still withholding both my money and a replacement while they carry out their own internal process.

I would strongly caution anyone considering ordering from Ashbury Home Living to think about what happens if something goes wrong. In my experience, getting them to actually take responsibility and resolve the problem has been far harder than it ever should have been.

I can only echo the reviews below. DO NOT USE. Not an actual shop and no physical presence in the UK - dealing with China via Netherlands. Tried to cancel the order but met with a tirade of AI responses. Told courier not to deliver as no one at the property but they sneakily delivered the lights and ran away. I’m minded to sue them but not sure I’ll get anything from them. Luckily my Credit Card Company has covered cover.

They deliberately not give you the full return details and you pay for international return then the goods ended up lost and they will then say they can’t refund you! I sent many emails back and forth with them asking for details return details but they only provided a Chinese address in English!! After more than 10 emails I sent to them urging for more return details and I was given a netherland contact telephone number to be written on the return address to be sent to China!!!! No wonder why the return goods ends up lost !!!!!

A wonderful misleading website leading you to believe they have an actual London store and in truth they are an overseas company with items that come direct from China with a delivery time that reflects this in a box that will undoubtedly be unsuitable for it’s travel and when you check out your item, it’s of poor quality and doesn’t feel to be of a safe standard for modern electrics.

Now to be met with slow communication reluctant to give a refund.

This company is a con, DO NOT order from them. Products were not as promoted and returns is a scam where you pay and it ends up lost and without response.

Horrible company

This company is an absolute disgrace. I ordered two lights with brown glass shades which were an option on the website. I was sent two lights with clear glass shades. I was informed by customer service that this was a ‘slight shading difference’. After multiple emails I was finally given details of how to return - I was offered a credit but I had no confidence in receiving the correct items should I order anything further. I have then had to pay £47 return the items to the warehouse in china which equates to just under half the order value. The only reason that they were being returned was because I was sent the incorrect items in the first place which was no fault of my own. I would avoid this company, their customer service is appalling

Don’t use this company. This is a scam. The shop does not exist the image is AI generated. It is a company registered in the UK but clearly operating in China. The goods are poor quality. If you have used it already and are struggling to get goods returned and refunded my suggestion is keep quoting in detail UK Consumer Law as I have and you will if persistent get your refund eventually. Do not give in to their ridiculous demands and claims. This outfit clearly operates outside of UK Law.
