This company is an absolute FRAUD! They completely scam you out of money. ROBBIE SUMMERS is a LYING, DISHONEST sales guy who promises a 5-7 day delivery window and completely under quotes the amount of space that is needed to complete the move.

Once ROBBIE SUMMERS got the deposit he completely stopped responding to everything. The move is then past over to the company they contract to complete the move. That is when they ask for half of the total, which is double the original quote.

My stuff was picked up on 1/4 and it is still sitting in a storage space near where it was picked up. That 5-7 day delivery window has completely passed and my stuff is not even en route to me in Texas from DC area. No one has an answer to when it will be on the way and when I will receive it.

Basically it feels like theft.

DO NOT TRUST ROBBIE SUMMERS OR ANYONE AT ATLAS MOVERS GROUP!

This company is a fraud. This is a scam. They charge you by volume but lie about the volume used. They charged me $15,000 more than I should have paid and said its not their problem.

I normally dont leave reviews, but I'll give this business a -5 stars. When I did inventory of the load I went through the items 3x with the rep and got an estimate of 5600. Was told this price wouldn't be higher unless I have more items added which makes sense. The day of the move the driver had a 3hr window and never showed. I had to call 6x in 3hrs to be told the driver "called and rescheduled". Asked to speak to supervisor or manager, and none was on-site. 2nd day, the movers come hr and half late but they did call. However, when they got there they did "inventory" again and said it was going to be 8k with a 5k deposit when I was told the day before the total remaining amount was 3800. This was after took off a 20ft play set, table saw, 4 chairs, lawnmower, weed eater, a dirt bike, and tools becausei was nervous to go over the space. I over estimated what I wanted to take and still was told we had to pay more! When I called and ask them about doubling the price they said I must've added more, but when I told the rep what all I took off and was not count he had no reply. Then said the rep who took the order didn't add the correct square footage even though I told them all the items correctly. The space "saved" wasn't even enough to take beds for my family. This company adds more stress on a stressful life changing situation. Can't see how a business like this is ok with lying to families and living with themselves. Thanks for the ripoff.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A BAIT AND SWITCH BROKER MOVING COMPANY. THEY WILL GIVE YOU A QUOTE ASK FOR A HALF DEPOSIT AND GUESS WHAT????? THEY DONT TELL YOU THAT YOUR DEPOSIT IS NONREFUNDABLE IF YOU DONT AGREE WITH THE PRICE AT TIME OF PICK UP. Eg THEY GIVE YOU A QUOTE OF 4000$ ask for a deposit of 1900$ and when the moving company COMES WITH THE THIRD PARTY THEY BAIT AND SWITCH WITH CUBIC FEET BLAH BLAH DONT PROVIDE BINS AND UPSELL YOU ANOTHER 4000$ DOLLARS. SO YOU THINK YOUR PAYING THE DIFFERENCE OF 2,100 BUT INSTEAD THEY WANNA TRY TO ROB YOU FOR AN ADDITIONAL 5k ON TOP OF THE ASKING PRICE. I received two phone calls and two voicemails from a random number one day. I then received a text from Kenneth Reed regarding a long distance move. I text back to stop calling me, and he proceeded to call me stupid. Not sure if this is his ploy to get customers but I think he should try a new tactic.

If I could give a zero I would. So many things were misleading and if everyone did business this way… every business would go under.
The amount they quoted me is now doubled. And I’m not talking about the original estimate but the one given to me 3 days ago. The one given by the person who reviewed the itemized list.
When I called to complain they blamed it on me, stating that I wasn’t honest about what and how much I was moving.
I am appalled at the underhanded way they do business. DON’T USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

I would give zero stars if possible. They will underestimate your move by at least half then contract with improperly licensed sub who uses illegal immigrants and treats your stuff poorly. They don't disclose your things will be put in storage or moved to a large rig. Total lying scammers. RUN from this company!

Worst company I have ever potentially worked with. Luckily I did not.

Got a quote 11/7 and told them I had 2 more coming that weekend and he said he would call me that weekend. When I got his quote it stated that I refused a visual inspection which I was never even offered and why would I reject that when they other 2 where in person. So be it.

Never heard back from them. After about 10 days from the other quotes I selected one of them based on them reaching back out and seeing if I had any other questions. Today Atlas calls me and I said I have already signed with someone else. He immediately starts yelling at me and then hangs up.

I then email him this
“This may be the rudest encounter I have ever had with a service. You quoted me on 11/7 and I told you had had 2 coming out that weekend and would compare. You then stated you would call me after the weekend and never did. You called me today and yelled at me and were rude when I said I signed with someone else after over 2 weeks of not hearing from you. The person I signed with did a follow up, unlike you. You have confirmed by yelling at me and hanging up on me and not giving me time to even answer that I 100% made the right decision. I am glad I am not stuck in business with someone like you or your company.

I will be reporting this to everyone that will listen including all social media. If you are not willing to give quotes without a definite sale you need to not advertise free quotes. ”

And his reply back was:
That was easy, wasn't it? and would have been easier because you wouldn't have had to type all that. I did follow-up you didnt answer like everybody else. Don't ever waste my time again or my companies time Toni......Therefore I'm out.

Don’t go through them for a quote and I am so glad I never booked with them.

As a follow up:
He replied “stop threaten me” (yep spelt like) when I stated “You Never followed up. No voicemail or missed call But at least now I have your reply to show you did act like a fool.”

Horrible. We had the Same as all the other reviews. We flew in from FL to help my mom and she set this all up. They prey on the stressed and are just horrible. Wish I would have seen this sooner. Lesson learned

100% a scam company do not use them. They took my grandmothers money and ran with it last 500 she had to move across the country.

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM
Don’t get involved with this company. They are not a moving company. They take their fee off the top in the guise of a deposit. Then they tell half of the balance on loading and half on deliver, but when the real moving company comes, they tell you that estimator miscalculated and the make you sign a new contract for doubled the amount. And after paying double the original quote, they still broke my TV and stopped accepting my calls after I tried to make an insurance claim. All of the bad reviews here are spot on. I just wish I would read them before I got scammed.

The worst experience I had,

They are the stiller, lier, as*hole people I have ever seen.

They subcontract the real movers. They are just a broker company who lies to you about everything.

If I could give this company, and Giovanni Van Lines zero stars, I would. These people are the worst type of scammers out there. They prey on people who are already stressed due to moving. We had two closings scheduled and we called to book the movers a month in advance. The BROKER, not sales person, Jordan, gave a good pitch, told me us wha we wanted to hear, got me hooked and reeled me in for the bait and switch. I updated my inventory at least three times, so every stick of furniture, every box, was on that list. There shouldn’t have been anything missed. Jordan gave us a binding estimate of $8100.00 as long as nothing changed on the list. Nothing changed. Then Giovanni Van Lines rolled up in a rented truck that was tiny! The foreman came in and took one look around and said that it was too much stuff. He started writing, then presented another estimate of $18,000.00! After a lot of back and forth and Giovanni’s owner, preening around like a peacock over the phone, I couldn’t see him, but you could just hear that preening in his voice, we told them to leave. They acted like they were doing so much to help us, but it was just a bunch of double talk. They said that they could get all of my stuff on that tiny truck, all they had to do was use the lift gate. What?!? The owner acted like this should be appreciated, he’s GIVING us the use of 400 extra ft of space for free, he said! So, I asked if it was safe. I said, “Okay, so you’re going to shove my stuff on a tiny truck, leave the lift gate open to the elements, overnight?” They never answered that question. Had we agreed to that, I feel we would’ve never seen our stuff again or we would have had to pay extra for another truck and our stuff would’ve been held hostage. Stay away from these people at all costs. We thought that we were dealing with the actual Atlas Van Lines. We found out too late that this was a broker and the “movers” didn’t work for them. The foreman kept saying, “It doesn’t matter what this Jordan told you. We don’t work for that company, we are a different company.” Awful! There is so much more that I could say about this experience, but it would be another book.

Don’t use them! They lie ., they said uniformed movers would show up. They didn’t. Atlas is a broker for moving companies. Company that they contracted with wanted me to sign a separate contract. Mover showed and wanted to sticker the items first and the whole job had 3 stops and mover wanted to see all the items in all three locations before they would start to move. Additionally, this mover said they charge $250 per fragile item and it all started when they saw my grandfather clock, Atlas knew I had several bulk pieces that were are fragile, and they never disclosed that there might be additional charges for shrink wrapping and using cardboard. Additionally, when discussing my move with atlas, he told me to over plan items, and then I would get a credit based upon what was actually shipped. When the mover showed up, they said that that was indeed not the truth, and that I would be charged for the amount of the total move , or the minimum of what was already in the documentation, so there was no credit if it was a lower amount so that was a flat out line. Many of the things atlas told me were untruths. I’ve reported them to the department transportation as well as a better business bureau.

Absolute worst company I’ve ever dealt with. If I could give a zero I would. Unprofessional. Rude. Uncommunicative. Increased pricing by $1300+ at pickup. After provided detailed and itemized list of items and reviewed with quality control. Movers showed up with a different list and then refused to pick up unless we paid addl money. Payment terms changed numerous times without notice. We made deposit. And then were told remaining balance would be paid half at pick up, half at delivery on cc we provided for deposit. Cust svc called the night before pickup and said we would have to pay pick up amt via Zelle or money order because the co they consigned to couldn’t accept cc. Paid the increased pickup fee via Zelle which was than unable to be processed by their financial institution. Then when we called to find out delivery date we we’re told they couldn’t give us a date because they hadn’t recd the Zelle and we hadn’t paid the delivery fee (which they previously told us we had to pay upon delivery). We have yet to be provided with a delivery date. When we call both this company and the company they consigned with, they either don’t answer phone or emails, don’t call back, or hang up on us. We still have not recd any delivery date. Have no idea where our belongings are, or when they will be delivered. We have recd no answer as to why the list we reviewed with co varied so significantly from the list the movers arrived with. Have no idea why the payment terms continue to change without notice or explanation. Have no idea why their financial institution could not process the Zelle and subsequently why we were told this was the reason for a supposed delay in delivery. Have no idea why they are now telling us we have to pay delivery fee before delivery when we were told previously it would be paid upon delivery. Absolutely horrible company. Do not do business with them!

Today is the day of my move. I packed all my boxes labeled everything that was being moved based on what I told the broker. Had to cash in my pocket to pay the upfront and on delivery just look, I was supposed to. But when the movers gone here, they told me that the brokers did not disclose things, and that quote More than double. I spoke to customer service who buy the way. You have to call sales because the customer's service number doesn't work. And they refused to work with me as I explained. I did not feel comfortable moving forward with such a increase in price. And that the movers themselves said that they didn't have enough people because the brokerage firm Atlas. Do not explain things correctly. Not to mention that I paid an extra fee to change a date even though I contacted my broker with him the time. To ask to move the date they refuse to allow me to move without paying at least $200 more. Left with very little choice at this point time. The loss of my depositive $2000 and weeks more delayed. I decided to move forward and reduce the amount of things moving hopefully. Being able to move things myself over time. My advice to anyone is to just work with a company locally. That you can speak with this company does not care about customer service. Poor doing a good job at all. All they care about is getting paid. They are non-responsive for the most part, especially Mike, my broker. Who has yet to respond to a single email. I would not use these people know what I ever recommend them To anyone.

They don't deserve even a 1 star. Quoted $5500 for a one bedroom apartment. Contractors, To The Moon Services walked in and first thing out of their mouth...you have too much. They took picture and sent to dispatch and ask for another $6000. So this is now a $12,000 move.

SCAM. Unlicensed foreigners who extorted money from my elderly parents, also verbally abusive. DO NOT USE. Go with a reputable company. These guys are con artists.
