Bought a longline fleece gillet: not fit for purpose (warmth)
Bought a longline fleece gillet. Very disappointed. Thin fabric, huge arm holes / strange shape, and not at all warm. Worn once for a beach walk so could not return by the time I discovered was not fit for purpose (ie warmth). Contacted customer services who offered a £10 credit note or £10 refund, and declared it to be a lightweight layering pieces with a “lightweight fabric”. The website description used words such as “cosy” and “designed for warmth”. Inconsistent product description , which is important when buying online. Full price was c £140 so very pleased ‘only’ paid sale price of c £90z

Very slow refund processing
The clothes are expensive but i ordered a selection for size comparison. Returns was simple enough but a company policy of 14 days to inspect returns and then a further 10 days to receive the money back isnt really acceptable in this day and age. It’s been nearly a month since i placed my order and am still awaiting my money back from my returns. It makes ordering from BAM prohibitive despite me liking some of the items in the order. Disappointing refunds take soo long.

Quality of socks excellent on the order itself. My partner is a BAM devotee and has always been happy with quality.

the comfort is outstanding which is the only reason i now order from bam.i recently had shingles and found the bamboo base layer was the only top in my wardrobe that caused no discomfort.However the fabric quality has got worse and fabrics do not stay smooth and start to pill even before first wash and they do not last.Durability is very important in sustainable clothing and for consumer cost.

Poor Customer Service
Not impressed by BAM having made a return and being refused a refund on postage.
In all my experience of shopping on line sellers have always refunded postage paid by customer without exception.
I shall be certain not order from BAM in the future as a consequence.
BAM exclude themselves in respect of Consumer Law it would seem.
Poor show.

We appreciate that different retailers have different returns policies. At BAM, our Returns Policy states that original delivery charges are non-refundable when items are returned because they are no longer wanted, and this policy is clearly set out on our website before purchase.
The delivery service was successfully completed when your order was delivered, which is why the original postage charge is not included as part of a standard return refund. We do, however, refund delivery charges where required, such as when an item is faulty or has been supplied incorrectly.
We're sorry that our policy did not meet your expectations and that this has affected your impression of BAM. Customer feedback is important to us, and we will ensure your comments are shared with the relevant team.

Company is on a downward trajectory down and it shows
Website is antiquated, when a size is out of stock you can’t put a reminder when the size comes back into stock to be notified. You contact customer services and they literally have no clue when something is coming back into stock or tell you the wrong information. Today there is an 25% off full price items. The website is very very slow and crashing. It’s also not taking the correct discount off if you have £80 of full price items in your basket that doesn’t equate to a £5 discount. I love their tanks for workouts my issue is the colour shades they have available. Very few that suit pale cool skin tones like myself they sell out. The vast majority are produced in colours that suit warm toned, tanned or darker skin and that’s reflected in the models used. Why? I can’t see this business lasting, the commercial decisions being made here are poor. It’s such a shame it used to be so much better. Do better and cater for your customers with pale cool skin tones with regards colours and shades !!!

Love the softness of the socks
Love the softness of the socks. I did have a hole develop quickly (within a month) of purchasing, however the customer service was very good and they replaced it. I'm hoping it was an anomaly because the socks are very comfortable.

Developed holes after just a few wears
I bought 2 packs of 5 mens everyday socks in black and green and some after being worn less than a dozen times have developed holes so have had to be thrown away. I also bought Regular Air Boxer 5 Pack Monochrome Mix M and whilst these haven’t developed holes, the fabric is thin and baggy so they ride up bunching up by the waist band. On the positive side the fabric has a lovely feel. Overall disappointed.

I bought 3 items from this brand and 2…
I bought 3 items from this brand and 2 have shrunk so that I can no longer wear them. The company said the photo I sent looked fine and would only give me a credit, even though I no longer want to shop here. I need to be able to wash my clothes! I have not had any other yoga clothes shrink from other brands on my gentle 30 wash. I think if an item is faulty you should be eligible for a refund.

BAM Underwear
My entire underwear collection is BAM boxers, and it is really disappointing to say that I have noticed that the quality has dropped significantly recently. The only option now is to buy BAM regular *air* fitted boxers, stressing the air. The fabric is not very supportive and constantly rides up the thigh. Previously there was an option for regular or air, but the thicker regular material has been taken away. As I know you will read this BAM, please consider bringing back the thicker fabric. Thanks

Great socks
I buy socks from BAM and they are incredibly soft and comfortable. They have slight padding around the toes and heel which is really nice and it's also nice to know the materials are environmentally friendly.

Best customer care experience I've ever had
Best customer care experience I've ever had!
So pleased to get a proper (and speedy) email reply when I emailed about adding an item to an existing order and a replacement item when I had an issue with one. Both times the team were so friendly and helpful, just so refreshing to deal with a small company compared to "computer says no" approach from larger places!
All my items have been lovely quality so far and I'd have no worries contacting customer support if something wasn't up to standard.

Premium Prices, Disappointing Quality
I was disappointed with my recent purchase from BAM. Their products are not cheap, so I expected much better quality.
I bought a sweatshirt and a pair of trousers. Unfortunately, the sweatshirt arrived with a torn inner lining. Although the damage is on the inside, it looks poorly made and gives the impression of a cheap garment, which is not what I would expect for the price.
I hope BAM will improve their quality control, as this experience did not match the premium image of the brand.

Huge decline in quality in 2026 - AVOID!
I have bought BAM clothing for many years—jumpers, joggers, T-shirts, boxers and socks—and have always been impressed with the quality. The durability, breathability and softness of the fabric were excellent. I've recommended BAM to friends and family, bought their clothing as gifts, and have probably spent hundreds of pounds over the years.
I recently purchased the 'Regular Fitted Air Bamboo Boxers – 3 Multipack' as a gift, and couldn't be more disappointed- the quality is complete GARBAGE. Almost bordering on scam levels of terrible. The fabric is so thin and cheap its almost sheer holding it up to the light. Nowhere near as soft as it once was. I'm genuinely embarrassed to give these as a gift, so they'll be going back.
Another reviewer below is highlighting the same issue. The response from BAM clothing as follows-
'We currently offer our most popular style and weight, the Air Boxer. This style is designed to be lightweight and breathable, made from a naturally soft blend of bamboo viscose and organic cotton with added stretch for everyday comfort. The Air fabric is intended to feel “as light as air,” making it ideal for warmer weather or more active use.'
This is nonsense. I have previously bought the same 'Air Boxer' and the quality was infinitely better a couple of years ago. Much heavier weight and still very breathable. This is simply a case of making a cheaper, inferior substitute and trying to sell it for the same price for increased profit.
I am tired of the 'enshittification' of consumer products, you can't seem to escape it. I don't understand what happened to just making a great quality product for a fair price and actually having pride in what you produce? I guess all you can do is call this practice out where you see it and vote with your wallet. You've lost my trust in your brand and you will no longer be getting my custom.

Active T shirt stretching
Hi - I like this company, and have some really comfy clothes.
My main issue is this - my t shirts seem to stretch out. I am mindful of how I hang them/ drape them factoring in gravity - however they all now come down past my shorts. I’d be interested in talking to someone from BAM, & providing photos.
I find the clothing so comfortable so wish to solve this. I don’t have a tumble dryer, if a quick spin is suggested.
