Avoid at all cost. Fraudulent activity on my account. Requested new card only for the unauthorised transactions. While they investigate my account is credited. Only for them to take back the credit. Will be taking legal action

Painful card activation process. Much easier with other providers. I spent 45 mins yesterday trying to use the app to sign up for a profile (no other options offered - you have to do it) it didn't work 3 times (of filling out all my info 3 times) and then locked me out for 24hrs, giving the option to "contact us". I did this, went through security, and they told me ... I had to wait 24hrs. Why put an option to contact you? Awful inefficient process and would strongly not recommend. As above - other providers far more painless. I should say application itself was pretty standard and straightforward but that was where it ended. Yet to succeed logging in.

I don't like the slowness of statements to update credit card usage; it takes one or two days to show transactions, so you can't get a current, true balance.
The vouchers in the £10 month 'club' have a use by date that is too short for me: they have to be used by the next issue. I had thought I could save them up for Xmas etc but this doesn't work for me, so I've had to terminate it. The free drink voucher us the same, so all 8 drinks by the next issue of vouchers.
Not a great experience so far but I'll give it a trial period.

I have had a m & s credit card for absolute years. Use it everyday. Have had a huge problem with a large amount of money that should not have gone out of my card and the. Customer service are rude and useless. They do not care. They sound like they are reading off a script. I have been chasing for over a week. I advise people not to take out a credit card with them. I am absolutely disgusted with their lack of support and lack of duty of care

Awful set up now. Had an M&S credit card for around 10 years but will be cancelling it. I know I will receive a cheesy, smiley reply to 'chat to one of the team' in reality you are sent round and round in circles with chatbots and when you do make contact you have delays of hours in between questions.
I have tried to pay the balance on my account for the past 2 months, by bank transfer, but when it tries to connect to my bank, it gives an error code 'sorry there is problem, try again later'
Why set up this new system when it does not work.
And there we go...chat to the team - if only you could reach someone to chat to.

Easy transfer of balance from another credit card to interest free offer and there is absolutely no issues whatsoever plus it’s confirmed within minutes, so exceptionally efficient

I was very hesitant doing a balance transfer on line but helped through by m@s operator so easy and straightforward don't know what I worried about I now prefer it that way now ,thanks

I never got the promised £20 for getting a credit card. Went online to follow up where it had got to and was told I had to download the app. Tried phoning but was told to get the app. Couldn't get the app to work.

I love my M&S credit card , nice easy app to check your balance and pay your monthly bill. No problem so far, my only query is that I still haven’t received my £25 voucher that was offered on the email I received that drew me into getting the credit card. Is it possible to look into this for me? I have had my card for a few months now.

Very very easy. I made the application when I was in a rush and had very little time. To be honest I thought that can not work - all done! Very efficient.

Awful service.
Tried signing in, and seems it is a major problem. No advice sent for user name or password, then had to waste time and difficulty getting the one time code, which didn't work. Total nightmare. They have no concept of customer care. Had problems getting Credit card online accounts with multiple banks. Think I will just keep it as a back up, and they can forget about contacting me via email as they have made the online process too difficult.

Really pleased with my new M&S credit card, during my application I was kept fully informed about my application & also found it easy to set up a monthly direct debit.

Therefore I did my research and was pleased with M&S correspondence and trust when accepting my application.

I changed provider to M&S but have found the credit limit too low (50%lower than previously) and I am unable to raise it for 3 months. Perhaps M&S could consult with previous providers with the consent of the holder- to establish a reasonable limit. Fortunately I have kept my previous card and may return to that.
