I note from M&S replies that the new security upgrade on the App means some older phones no longer accept this - but as you also need that app to open the online bank account why can't you provide a way to open that up without having the app?

Find M&S credit card very useful as there is very little stock in shops to try on I was trying to buy ladies top Jaeger had to travel 1O miles to try on other than that order 2 sizes and return one which is a inconvenience

Like many people, an update of their app has left me with no access to my account - all my other banking apps are fine.
I've since deleted it, and have no need to use a company who don't feel the need to keep me informed about a major app upgrade like this.
Customer satisfaction - I don't think so!

I’ve had my M&S card for many years and haven’t had too many issues with using the M&S Bank app other than when trying to adding it onto new IPads. I’ve found it difficult to send the required copy of my passport so have simply had to keep my previous IPad live for when I need to access my statements. The recent change to being unable to pay using my Debit Card via the app caused me a slight problem at first but I’ve now managed to make payments via my own banking app. These issues haven’t put me off using the app though 😊

I have been a customer for many years and have not had any problems with using my M&S card at home or abroad. Online Banking feels safe to use, is clear and easy to navigate.
I hope that the current transition with HSBC Bank ensures the same standard of service continues.

Since M&S changed their banking app both myself and my Mother can no longer access it. Trying to get this sorted with customer services has been a joke. How hard is it to understand we cannot access the app or online banking anymore. I am seriously considering getting rid of my card if you can't sort this out

The mobile phone app which I use for my M & S credit card is excellent and keeps me up to date with my usage etc. GREAT

I have had an M&S credit card for many years and never had any issues both in the UK or abroad.
It has been my go to card for most purchases.

I have a 'Rewards' credit card and I find all the different rewards, vouchers, points, Sparks points just a total mess and confusing. I get paper vouchers in the post that expire after 3 months. I get vouchers in my app that have "More than 30 days to use". So, vouchers I 'pay' for expire really quickly, but the 'free ones' go on forever? Confused already. What is the difference between these 'Rewards'? Then there are the points. They seem to disappear every now and then for no apparent reason. Then there are the Sparks points. It's all just too much. For goodness sake, just have one type of reward voucher which everything goes into: the 3 monthly vouchers, Rewards points vouchers and Sparks points vouchers. It's so obvious to any sane person. Please take a long hard look at this from a customer point of view and just make things as simple as possible.

Generally I find use of card and rewards very good.
However, I have just completed a minimum spend for June for £10 reward vouchers.
This has disappeared from app, but no vouchers added to my account or any confirmation received.
Fine it frustrating that I just have to wait and hope now.

The card is easy enoigh to use although I use it in a wallet on my phone. The best part is the app. This allows secure login to see and download statements providing multi-factor authentication.

I’ve had my M&S card for many years and have enjoyed the reward scheme offered. When they had a problem with technical data not too long ago I was very impressed with their notification and secure way everything was handled. The new app layout like everything required a bit of working out and my only disappointment was I couldn’t reload on my new iPad (I personally find reading easier) as it had to have a photo which failed every time. I haven’t had any problems so can’t comment on services, or payment issues.

I have been an M&S customer for many many years and although the clothes have greatly improved the head office has not. In store everyone is polite and friendly but the behind the scenes officials have dumbed down everything. I can no longer pay my credit card in store (which has resulted in my limit being downgraded because I have forgotten to pay on time twice recently, but could have paid in store on time) I can no longer visit a cafe in many many stores ( a coffee machine may be great for busy workers in city sites but we country bumpkins (quite often elderly) want a sit down and a nice cake and a tea pot. I don’t think a small area of extra retail space is worth the huge inconvenience to customers who traditionally have used the cafe every week.
Whizz kid designers of stores don’t give a thought to the non-city dweller, many of whom who travel significant distances to visit a store. M&S have evolved into looking after the office worker and seem to find everyone else an inconvenience.
