This company is a scam. The telephone number on the website is a scam number. Order goods for £40 but they didnt arrive. Please be careful

SCAM COMPANY - Don't order form these people, they are a scam company pretending to be UK based but Chinese based. I ordered £30 sandals, which took 13 days to arrive and were of such poor quality (the lightest shoes, Ive ever felt), I didnt even bother to open.

When trying to return they decided they would give me only £8.69 refund and I could keep the terribly poor quality items OR I had to foot the bill to return to China (there's no way they would have refunded me anyway and the hoops you had to jump through are clearly designed so you don't bother).

Their Insta handle just links to anorexic people perhaps showing off their clothes (but no mention of the company)
Their company name is listed as Berrymere Birmingham - to give you the impression they are UK based.

I can't believe I fell for it, but busy life and too trusting sometimes.

And just to add, any positive comments on this thread are clearly added by the company themselves. Nothing here is good quality or honest.

And as far as the "contact us and we'll sort" email below - i have contacted them at least 6/7 times. They will not do ANYTHING to help me. Its either return to China - which would cost more than the shoes and they then won't refund anyway, or accept £8.69 as a refund - 30% of the actual price
DON'T BUY FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY.

Like many others have reported (I wish I had seen these reviews before) very attentive customer service initially but the sandals took a long time to arrive and when they did they were just in a plastic bag and squashed up. They are nothing like the photographs on the website, cheap material and about 3 sizes smaller than they should be.
The website says free delivery and returns to Uk but they clearly come from China. They have made a couple of very well written email offers to pass the shoes on and buy another pair for a third of the price. Not acceptable and still negotiating…..

EDIT: final offer was 25% refund or return the package to China. For ease I chose the former so am now out of pocket. Would have been whichever choice I made.

If I could leave no stars I would, so this company on the website states they are based in uk! There aren’t my shoes took over a month to get delivered, they arrived too late for my occasion all squashed up as have come from abroad, smell like toxic!!! The most disgusting smell ever, They are sitting in a black bag waiting to be returned because of the fumes, contacted them to arrange return only to be told I have to cover the return fee!!!! Just beware you’re not buying what you think you are. Not happy!!! So now been to post office to return shoes as the stink and it’s going to cost me £25.50 to return to China!! So they have offered me £10.50 for my shoes and keep the shoes… shoes are now in bin please don’t waste your money on this company gutted wasted my money

This company isn't based in the UK so it takes at least 3 weeks before your order arrives. Otherwise the dress, when it arrived was of good quality and a nice colour.

It seems a similar problem to others regarding sizing I purchased shoes size 6 when they came they were more like a size 5. After a number of emails, they refused to accept they were wrong and insisted I send back to China. They offered initialy that for 10.95 they would send me a further pair and I could keep the ones they sent to 'give to a friend' I refused they then offered a 10% refund, I refused and then offered a 25% refund. Their excuse was that it was my personal preferance and nothing to do with the quality I have lost 39.00. I would never have purchased if I had known they were based in China their website says Birmingham and even the payment went to Altringham. AVOID AT ALL COSTS how do we stop this kind of company trading online, in future I will only buy from Amazon

Once I found your website it was easy to navigate with clear photos of your products for sale. I received almost immediate confirmation of my order which is reassuring when shopping on line. Your return policy is clear and fair

I had to change my order and although I sent several emails, this was not done. I only wanted one pair and two came..... When the sandals came the quality was SO poor and they were so badly made I was appalled. I will be returning them asap.

After several emails to them asking where my order was , they arrived .
Absolutely cheap plastic rubbish - nothing like the photo in advert
Squashed/ misshapen as sent in a thin plastic bag .
Misleading advertising as it says company is in Birmingham and obviously is not .!!!! I would not have bought them if l’d known they were from China .
It now looks like the process of refund and return is really difficult. I don’t trust them now . Want my money back but doubt l’ll get it !

Do not use this company. Their clothes are from China and shipping takes 2-3 weeks. Upon arrival they were absolutely horrible products, poor design, cheap and nasty and very poor quality.

Clearly uses other websites photos of quality items
Then sends you a month later an item that is nothing like the description or quality and definitely not worth the price
I ordered a trouser suit £70 down to £39.99 advertised
When it finally arrived it was screwed up into a small package
The material was a thin as toilet tissue there were no tags on the product only a M label stiched awkwardly
After contacting them numerous times and being offered 30% refund and keep or full refund and post back at a cost to myself of approximately £22 I’m slowly losing the will
The fact that they question our intelligence
If your happy with a cheap item and cheap quality go for it
However when your paying for a product that clearly isn’t what it says it is and you send them photos confirming this and you get a message back saying the product is fine it’s not good enough
In my opinion avoid like the plague 🙁

This is a scam company. I ordered a dress which has never arrived neither has my refund. I have asked for a refund several times, I get an email response but its always a load of nonsense... avoid avoid avoid

Please don't buy from this company.
It took ages for my delivery to come and when it did it was nothing like the pictures advertised.
The size was wrong and the stitching was bad.
They would not let me return the dresses or give me a refund.
They suggested I give them to someone they fit and buy more butter quality at 30% cheaper.
I demanded to return the dresses and requested a refund they stopped responding to me
I spent £103 on three dresses if only I could post them up so you can see their awful. What a waste of money
Please don't make the same mistake and buy from them.
They keep suggesting unreasonable offers like 15% refund .
They can be polite in there replies but at the end of the day your never gonna get a refund . They love playing games .

Found the Berrymere site to be feast for the eye ,as I was looking for a casual outfit to attend a race meeting,was spoilt for choice,the only criticism was that the trouser suits that I was looking at did not show the leg length so had to assume the trousers were full length,other than that no complaints.

I ordered a coat for £49.99 come one the 13th of may poor quality,looked nothing like the picture no tags,i have contacted them i want my money back,its discussting what they do to rip people off.order number 9118

They purport to be England-based with the name at the top of the website - Berrymere Birmingham. They are based in China and if you receive something that you are unhappy with, as I did, they only offer a partial refund and to keep the item, or to return it, at your expense, to China!
I bought a women's tweed jacket that looks of good quality in the photos on the website. It isn't! It took 17 days to arrive, it has loose threads, no tag, had a musty smell as though it was second hand or had been stored in a damp place, didn't fit, and was of poor quality.
They initially offered for me to pay a further amount to buy another jacket in a larger size and keep the original one, then a 15% partial refund and to keep the jacket. Finally after mentioning Consumer rights to receive a full refund, they said their 'final offer' was a 25% partial refund or for me to return the jacket to China at my expense!
In future I will steer clear of any online Company that I don't recognise as an England-based company.
