my profound dissatisfaction with the service I received from BRM Legal during the sale and purchase of my properties. My experience has been nothing short of frustrating and stressful, and I feel compelled to share the details of my ordeal.

I was appointed BRM Legal by Millennium to represent me in what should have been a straightforward sale and purchase process. Our chain involved a first-time buyer for my sale and sellers who had part-exchanged for my purchase. Given the simplicity of the chain, I expected the process to take a maximum of 12 weeks, assuming everything went smoothly.

However, BRM Legal changed their representation for the sale of my property without informing me. As a result, I found myself having to answer the same questions and provide the same documentation repeatedly, even six weeks into the process. This lack of communication and coordination was incredibly frustrating.

Furthermore, due to the nature of the property I was selling—ex-military land—there was an overture clause that required documentation from the DIO to satisfy the buyer's solicitor. This crucial step was neglected by BRM, and after eight weeks, I had to take it upon myself to obtain this documentation. It is unacceptable that I had to project manage this process on behalf of BRM, especially when it was their responsibility to handle such matters.

After an agonizing six months, I finally sold my house. However, my troubles did not end there. Now, almost three months post-purchase of our new home, I have been inquiring about the TR1 and NHBC Certificate. To my dismay, the TR1 still bears the previous owners' names, indicating that BRM has failed to apply for the Land Registry. This oversight has led to additional demands for payment from the management company regarding the FME1 and Land Registry certificate—issues that only surfaced after my inquiry about the TR1.

The entire experience has been exceedingly stressful. My wife had to resign from her position due to our move, and my role changed, requiring me to be away from home for extended periods. On top of that, we faced increased family health issues during this time.

In light of my experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering BRM Legal to think twice. Their inability to manage anything outside of a standard process, coupled with their poor communication, has left me deeply disappointed and stressed.

I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as I would not want anyone else to go through the ordeal I faced.
