I currently rent a Bungalow Living home. Good luck ever talking to a live person once you have moved in. Nobody else responds, and there is no live phone number to call. Rent is more expensive than up front costs due to so many added on fees. Live anywhere else!

Company does not return phone calls, messages, and the contact email link for residents leads to nowhere. Further I feel I was missinformed by company representative to charge me more for services.
After arrival: location is filthy and abandoned. There is trash and debris at the front yard, spiders webs, etc. Also, my rooms door knob does not lock as it is not properly installed, I had to go to Home Depot to buy one that also has a key, as the one you have installed is for use in baths and bedrooms with no key. The place inside smells so strong of smoke that I became dizzy and nauseous, and left the smell in my vehicle as I sat there for a 5 minute drive. The conditions in this place are not healthy for me. I don't smoke ANY kind of substance and the headache does not subside. I should have been advised this is a smoking environment, let alone the unkept condition. You charge $50 per person to clean what exactly? There are holes on the walls for vermin to crawl out of. I am demanding a relocation to a healthier place at your expense, before I consider further regulatory or legal action. This is unacceptable environment you are selling here.

The rent you sign up for is almost more than $300. Like clockwork every 3-4 months they change or increase the service fees with no explanation even if you sign the lease at a set price. Any damage from cheap materials that they are supposed to cover they find a way to inflate the rent to cover! They take forever to respond and have no phone numbers to call them. My rent was up more than $200 and they added days before the rent was due! They have yet to get back to me. This month for more than 20 days the top A/C was broken (no power to it at all). They took their time responding and didnt even offer a portable A/C or hotel stay. During a heat advisory the home upstairs was more than 99+ everyday!

Everyone was so helpful, kind, and attentive and I've never felt more supported through a housing search!

This is far and away the worst experience I have EVER had with a rental service.

The application process is pretty seamless, and the leasing agent helped me through the process, but as soon as I signed the lease, I was completely left in the dark. I tried contacting him again for general questions about the move-in process, but was met with silence. A couple of days before my move-in date, I received a few robot emails congratulating me on my acceptance and my imminent arrival the coming weekend. The days drew closer, and I rented a trailer to get everything in, along with three cars worth of stuff to put into the room I'd leased. Once I arrived at 4.30pm (with a promised ready time by 2.00pm that day, the place was absolutely disgusting. There were flies everywhere, trash littered the common areas, the entire house reeked of cat urine and marijuana, there was a bong and a veritable mountain of cigarettes on the porch (the lease promised this area would be drug & smoke free) and there was even someone in the room I'd rented. After talking to the tenant, he informed me that Bungalow should have contacted me in regards to him staying in that room until the beginning of the next month. No one had notified me of this, and I was furious. Not only was I unable to move in to the place, but I had sunk a couple hundred dollars in moving costs down a drain, and had to seek immediate housing elsewhere. In the group text, someone else that was moving into the house asked if the drug paraphernalia could be moved temporarily so his family didn't see it when HE moved in the following week. He then added that he smoked too, so apparently Bungalow's "attempt" at vetting tenants is only surface level. They do NOT check in periodically to ensure rules are followed, not even things that are ILLEGAL. I am so disgusted with my experience, and there is not even a possibility of talking to an actual person. The phone number they provide just points you to their unintuitive website where you can submit a ticket that is currently on its third day of being unopened. I am staying at another place at a premium at the moment because of this awful inconvenience, and at the time of this message, there has still been no response. The "agent" that I spoke to when I was sent the lease is nowhere to be found, and he will not return any of my calls. This situation has gotten so insane, I've sought legal counsel and will be turning this into a case if this isn't solved and I am not refunded my money. This service is misleading, unhelpful, cruel and disgusting, and I will be leaving this review everywhere I am able to in order to get the word out.

If I could give these people negative stars, I would. Do NOT use this service to find a place and make the same mistake that I did. They pretend to care about you until you give them your money, then you turn into just another faceless stream of income for them.

This was a fast & easy process. So simple to upload documents to apply. The turn around time for approval was excellent and everything was explained in detail. Andres made this a great experience!

They have helped me rent twice recently, and both times have been excellent. The shared homes are well-maintained, and the sense of community among residents is unique to this location.

This company does a poor job of maintaining the house on my street. Sprinkler water line burst because it was not winterized and had no luck getting ahold of ANYONE. Backyard flooding in the middle of winter and had to call water company who did an emergency shut-off. Management company actually returned my emergency call TWO DAYS after I left a message about the pipe burst. Trash everywhere, contractors coming in and out of the house complaining of cat urine, disgusting smells. I would not recommend this management company to ANYONE! This was a really nice house and they are running it into the ground. Yard is a mess. No wonder it has been vacant for so long.

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE...
There is no support at all for renters.
This company must be avoided..

Looking for a place two states away can be an uphill battle, which I was fighting while working two jobs. I pretty much stumbled onto Bungalow out of so many options and within about a week went from "where will I live?" to "Just signed my lease!" I had phone calls and emails coming in regularly to assist at each step once I decided on my room, and they were very understanding of my constant state of exhaustion, which definitely helped! If you're looking for a place, and need a helping hand, I'd definitely recommend Bungalow.
