Great service. My quote was quick, competitive, and informative.

By asking a question regarding how to…
By asking a question regarding how to go about adding a 44klm dirt road trip to Cobbold Gorge over a 5 day period, I was charged admin fees(fee reduced from $70 to $25approx. ) after the operator identified me and then proceeded to review the policy. The off road travel date was not asked of me so when it was established the travel was in the near future I was advised to call Club 4x4 the day before the travel date (13/9/26) to arrange extra cover. Does that mean another admin fee? The operator was fine the info given was understood, the admin fee was a bit of an unexpected fee that I will consider if we renew the policy on 7th October, if each enquiry means paying for information/service. He left notes for when I call back explaining the initial reason for my precautionary inquiry.
I will take out additional insurance to the allocated $1500 because I wanted to be sure we have completed our due diligence within the scope of this policy.

We have attempted to contact you to help us gain a better understanding of what went wrong. However, we would like to confirm that our admin fee of $77 is a one-off fee that you pay when issuing the policy and on renewal. We do not charge you a fee for every interaction that you may have with us. We apologise for the miscommunication on this matter.
Your feedback is genuinely important to us as we are always looking at ways, we can improve our processes and systems to best support our customers, so we would love the opportunity to discuss this further.

Easy to deal with.
I have just renewed my policy with Club4X4 and have been happy with the way in which it has been handled.
I recently submitted a claim for a broken windscreen and the reporting process was relatively simple.
I had a conversation with Shannon yesterday and it was pleasant and informative with Shannon offering me numerous options to reduce my premium.

I received a clear and prompt reply to my email pointing me to the customer portal. The portal was quick and easy to use. I got a prompt email response, confirming the changes I made were correct and accepted.

Club 4x4 gives peace of mind and bank account
The lady I spoke to was knowledgeable, great customer service and in all honesty, Club 4x4 offered me so much more than the other insurance companies, which has given me great peace of mind. Particularly as I like a good road trip and they have me covered for that too...it is all the extras add up but no big difference in premium.
