Happy with my experience

I saw these reviews after I purchased and had some concerns, but I had a great experience and have come back to order again. I had some order questions the second time and they were very knowledgeable about my exact vehicle which was helpful. The quality was much better than what I've gotten from others.

Covercraft sucks

Covercraft customer service is one of the worst I have ever delt with. I ordered car seats twice that did not fit and returned them, after paying to ship them back to Covercraft only to receive a partial refund after they stated that they would be waving any restock fees. The amount refunded was close to half of what was paid. DO NOT DO BUISSNES WITH COVERCRAFT.

Sunshade to Hot to touch!

We purchased a sun shade for our 2023 Nissan Pathfinder. We had purchased one 10 years prior with no issues. The reflective side on the new windshield cover is so hot, it burns you when removing from the windshield. The heat absorption is ridiculous. It does not decrease the heat in the vehicle as earlier versions did. I have seen multiple complaints on this issue on Covercraft's website, but no response. Very disappointed in this product. Are there any plans to address this problem?

Thanks for your feedback although we're sorry to hear you're experiencing an issue with your sunscreen. While the UV shield is designed to absorb heat to reduce damage to the interior of your vehicle, it should not be so hot that you cannot remove it.
This information is most helpful. I was able to locate your 2013 order for the Silver sunscreen and your most for the Galaxy Silver. While the paper used is slightly different for the front of each of them, neither should get so hot you cannot touch them. If you'd like to reach out to me directly, I'd be happy to offer a warranty replacement in the Silver material as your original.

Terrible customer service

Our company ordered floor mats for one of our new work trucks. When the order arrived it had the incorrect rear mat for the truck, and this is where the trouble began. I have talked to customer service multiple times, no resolution. I then emailed the company, no response. I called again to talk to a manager and was told she was in a meeting, that was 24 hours ago with no call back.

I would not recommend doing business with this company. All further purchases for our fleet will be made with one of their competitors. The lack of respect for their customers is evident and I for one will not do business with a company that treats their customers this way.

2 out of 3 fit. Covercraft insisted it was correctly made. It wasn’t.

Based on a previous experience with a Covercraft sunscreen, I ordered two more for my other vehicles. The one for the Ridgeline fit fine. The one for the Envision has way too large a cutout for where the mirror has to clear the screen. After sending photos I was told three times that the cutout was so the screen can fit over the mirror. Three times I replied that I understood that, but it was too large. When asked if I wanted to return it, i said only if you’ll send me one that fits better. Otherwise I’ll stuff a cloth into the opening. I was informed they would not do that. Again I was asked if I wanted to return it. I referred her to the previous email with the same question and my same answer.
Covercraft thinks they can do no wrong. I’m out $100 because they refused to see if my criticism was valid or not. The way I kept getting the same questions and answers I wondered if I was dealing with a human or AI. Bottom line…..if you order one. It might fit, it might not.

After reviewing your images and our application, it appears the UV screen fits as intended, therefore a replacement would be an exact match to the one you've received. The opening around the rearview mirror is intended to allow easy installation of the unit without having to adjust and readjust your mirror with every install. I believe the agent was offering a return of the unit as you seemed unhappy with it but unfortunately, we do not have another fit for this vehicle. We greatly appreciate your business and hope you consider Covercraft for future purchases.

The Dash Mat That Wasn't, Thanks to Covercraft

I ordered a specific dash mat for my 2024 car—which make and model I described I detail—and received essentially a thin nylon carpet with thin elastomer backing, cut to fit so badly that I couldn't get the thing into the dash space of my car, nowhere near that. Returns agent said I had to take a photo of the thing not fitting, so I explained why that was impossible. After another round of emails I just rolled the thing into the box and delivered it to our Sustainability Center, where I hope it gets melted back into the nasty thing from which it came. I'm only out $25 but I really think buyers should beware Covercraft.

I purchased a Carver boat cover for my…Bayliner Element with Arch

I purchased a Carver by Covercraft boat cover for my Bayliner Element. The cover does not cover the boat to keep the elements out, leaving a significant gap near the rear of the boat. Also, the cover cannot be properly installed with the boat in the water or on a lift. It appears to be for a trailered boats, but was not advertised as such.
When I brought these issues up I was told that it is a custom fit product and cannot be returned. I say the product is defective and should not be sold.

All of Carvers' boat covers come standard with the free advertised tie down kit that consists of 12 tie down straps to be used for trailer applications. However, if you're storing the boat on a lift or in the water, we would recommend using suction cup tie downs or mooring bags to keep the cover secure and in place. Many of our customers use Carver covers for purposes other than a trailer with the appropriate accessories. This particular application is a custom fit cover, made to your specific boat with allowance for the ski arch to exit the cover and intentionally leaves an opening around the arch. Since the cover is not defective, it is considered non-returnable as per our published policy for custom-made items. We're very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Very disappointing return policy

Upon receipt of our seat covers, my husband installed one on the passenger side of our new car. We immediately both felt it didn't do the car any justice, so he promptly removed it and I put it back in the shipping bag with the other cover, which we never even removed from the bag. We then shipped the covers back for a refund. We were told the covers were "sent back dirty and because of that we will have to charge a 20% restock fee." This is a direct quote from their e-mail and it is a blatent LIE!!! Those covers never even had a chance to get dirty!! We never even sat on the one he installed!!! So folks, please beware if you are returning something to this company. Chances are you won't get a full refund. This is a very sad way to run a business.

wrong center console sent…

i ordered a set of camo carhartt seat covers for my 2023 ford f 150 , i didnt open the box for about a month cause i didnt have the time to mess with them, when i went to put these on , these did not fit my center console, i reached out to try and return these and was told they would not take them back , then i was asked to take pics of my center console which i gladly did, then i was told to take pics with the covers on the center console, this time i did not comply , enough is enough for something they screwed up on .they dont care once they take your money, $400 down the drain from a company with the worst customer service ive ever seen

Poor Workmanship and Terrible Customer Service

I paid nearly $900 for a trailer cover from Covercraft, and the top seam's stitching came undone. The material used to make the cover was good quality, and the cut and fit were good. The stitching came undone across the top seam. Covercraft asked me to send a photo of the manufacturer's tag. I sent photos showing the cover was in good condition, but the stitching had come apart. Covercraft told me I could return the cover at my expense for repair but did not say how much it would cost to re-stitch the top seam. I waited several weeks to hear from Covercraft, but they did not contact me. I contacted them again and they said the cover was damaged beyond repair, that they no longer make this cover, and they had sent me an email letting me know.

Dash Mat

Dash Mat: "Don't do it" !!
Quality materials incorrectly die-cut or cut by the inexperienced via poor/incorrect measurements and sewn by the equally inexperienced. Covercraft Customer service offered to review an item after many and various clear views via pictures of the item in question were presented. Covercraft returned the reviewed item to the purchaser with communications that the item was spot-on. (Yes, to their unacceptable means of determination and inability to wear glasses while viewing the presented pictures or actual item). Their return policy is strict and in their unrelenting favor. There is nothing in the return policy that favors the consuming public. Return at buyers cost only to receive their determination Covercraft is not at fault and will stick the buyer with a restocking or reshipping charge. They do not stand by their product assumed to be form fitting by any purchasing party. This party will never purchase another item from Covercraft and will certainly and willingly share my experience with others who may consider any Covercraft product.
Seeing so many reviews stating Covercraft's sorrowful thoughts on prior purchases here on Trustpilot proving my tale isn't just a rage of discontent. Simply common terrible experiences with Covercraft it appears. Especially for those items that are produced south of our borders.
Be very aware of the experiences of others before stepping up to purchase from Covercraft.

Avoid!

Hideous, poorly constructed, and ill-fitting, too small in some places and too large in others. I was actually willing to accept that, but there was also no way to secure them to the seat, so they came off constantly. I asked over and over for the straps shown in the instructions, this was never addressed. I was just repeatedly told that I don't know how to install them. There are 3 little "pillows" that tuck into the back and near the back of one side, that is all I was given to secure the cover and they aren't placed where they can tuck in well. That, coupled with the fact that the covers don't actually fit the seat, made it so that they came loose every time we got in and out of the car. There is also Velcro with nothing to connect it to; I was told that it sticks to the seat, but the seat is plastic there and Velcro doesn't stick to plastic! I ordered another set from a different company, NOT "custom made for my vehicle" (HA!), and for half the money I got covers for ALL of my seats, they are MUCH better constructed, they installed in minutes, and they fit so well that they look like the seats came that way! They are sharp-looking and I get compliments on them, and, oh yes, they came with hooks and straps and they are very secure! So maybe the problem isn't me after all? The only good thing I have to say is that they finally just refunded my money, saving another complaint filed with the BBB.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I was sent a damaged product and then it was on me to to send them proof of the damage. Once it was excepted they would send me a replacement cover weeks later. The replacement cover takes way longer then the original order. Probably because they have to pay for it.
I will never order from them again.

EDIT: My original order was placed on a Sunday. I received the damaged product the next Friday.
I reached out on Monday about the damaged product. It has been over two weeks and I still have not received a replacement. The original order took a week, the replacement is going on over two weeks and I don’t have any indication that has even been shipped. I don’t believe your reply below.

Upon receiving images of the defective piece, it appears that customer service issued a replacement order the same day with a requested expedite on production. Since all of our seat covers are custom made per your order and your specific vehicle, unfortunately, they do have to be made. 2024 Tesla model x

Ordered a dashmat for my 2024 Tesla model X. The product received did not fit. Not sized correctly and had no vents, so the mat floated off the dash when defrost was running.
Update: contacted customer service on April 3, 2024. Have received no response

If your dash has vents or other required openings for sensors, it would also be equipped with those. I ordered a carhart seat cover.i received garbage it was nothing like the advertisement. I thought if I purchased from a reputable company I would get a quality product. Then they charged a 20% restocking fee which was more than the product was worth. I was expecting a durable material like shown in their advertisement. They have great advertisements

While they are a durable material, you are correct, they are not made from the Carhartt fabric.
