The initial start of the process was fine and easy to navigate, but as soon as it got to the yoti or Royal Mail app verification and adding of passport etc etc it completely feel apart. I tried both apps to equally small success. Yoti app wouldn’t let me get past the phone number verification to the point where on the 3rd or 4th attempt it wouldn’t even send me a code anymore. The Royal Mail app went further but still wouldn’t allow me to upload anything. All in all a it was an extremely frustrating experience and in the end i had to get a member of production to complete it for me going through dbs directly.

This service distinguishes itself from others I have encountered, and I was particularly impressed by the option to upgrade to the DBS update service within 24 hours, which was something I was hoping to do.
