Whilst it was a bigger job than initially thought , the workmen came back and got it all sorted , they were always polite and left the area tidy

I sensed right away that this company had a high focus on Customer Care. That always makes me wary, lol. However, their workers were polite and professional at every stage and my solar panels were fitted without issues on 22/7/2026. I have to say, I am very happy Customer.

Solar panels installation was put in very well and the team was very good and nice and tidy up and did everything on time and works wonders

They are so helpful and friendly on the phone . They keep in contact throughout the whole process and ensure they follow up once panels installed .

The installation on the day was first-class. Started on time and completed earlier than expected with everything neat and tidy on completion.

The installation team was amazing and friendly. They did very good job after finish they cleaned all rubbish. They took the time to answer any questions I had and made the whole process stress free. I would happily recommend them to others

I'm very happy with my solar panels. The installation team were excellent, particularly the electrician Darren, who did an excellent job, particularly in explaining the ins and outs of how the system works. The panel installers were also excellent, although I didn't get their names.
Follow up from the office has been good too.
If you're thinking of getting solar panels, you can do a lot worse than eco energy!

Eco Energy have supplied 12 solar panels and a 10KWh battery solution for our home. The process was fairly painless (It was delayed but that was due to us rather than Eco Energy) and I am over the moon with the system.

Would recommend them if you are looking for Solar.

Finished roof now looks pristine and amazing - complete replacement of all tiles plus introduction of solar roof panels.
Only mild criticism is that Eco Energy should employ the services of a supervisor or clerk of works to check on workmanship for their sub-contractors and supervise the tidying up of contracted area on completion of works - my roof space looked like a bomb site with debris scattered throughout.

Paid for a 8.5kw system, and ended up with 7.5kw system. Hard ball selling, they want you to sign up on first visit and initial price was 6k more than final figure which shows you how over hyped sales tactic are. So onto installation, lack of comms and no proper on site survey meant we waited and eventually took 4 days to install our system. Total lack of communications unless I chased them, they then chase you for the finance agreement, so many emails , infact 32 emails from 2 different finance companies each requested sign off, yet the system we ended up with was just 7.5kw. We feel ripped off, officially complained 2 weeks ago and nothing happened, no refunds for the difference in system. Really are a high sales pitch company that fails to deliver on its glossy brochure promises. Beware of this.company, sutely are better options and more reliable installers to go to.

I get constant calls from this company - roughly 2-3 a day despite advising I am not interested.

Despite blocking numbers I get constant calls. This is harassment. Please remove my details and phone number from your information or I will report the company to the ICO.

From start to finish finish I have had nothing but great service from all involved with the work done. Everyone was professional and each department cleaned up behind them before the job was signed off. I could not afford a battery at time of installation but when I contacted them 4 months later it was all handled smoothly and the battery was installed promptly. I would highly recommend this company for any solar installation or upgrade to your current system.

We got a quote from Eco energy for solar panels, inventor and batteries and was very impressed with the gentleman that came out to review our property and gave us the price. I did explain that I was getting 3 other quotes and would not be able to give a decision for 3 or 4 weeks until all the quotes were in. After 7 days we started to receive numerous calls every day asking if we had made a decision. We explained that we were waiting for further quotes but the calls continued until I explained that I was no longer interested due to the frequent calls from Glasgow which had become very annoying and was dismissing Eco energy.
It was a shame as the engineer was very knowledgeable and professional but the constant calls from Glasgow put me clean off them and reminded me of the old timeshare days in Spain.
I appreciate the sales team in Glasgow are trying to do their jobs but when the calls continued long after we told them we were no longer interested, then it’s too much.
We have since gone with a local company to get the installation done at a slightly more expensive price. Perhaps the sales team in Glasgow need to learn from this?

The end product is great. I did have a long wait before the work was carried out and a handful of communication issues (my emails going into their spam) but each interaction I had with them was good. Builders left some mess but the quality of the roof and the efficiency of the solar panels have outshine my expectations.

Great company, from start to finish it was smooth sailing. Have not had any issues at all and they have been very helpful with information about getting switched over to a new rate with supplier. Already recommended them to family.

We had a few issues and delays with the installation and decided to cancel after having communication problems. The CEO got involved and resolved the matter within a few hours.

Overall, we're really pleased with the solar panel installation carried out by Eco Energy. The installation team were professional, hardworking and completed the work to a high standard. They were knowledgeable, kept everything tidy throughout the job and took the time to explain the system before they left. The finished installation looks great, and we're looking forward to seeing the long-term benefits of the system.

Unfortunately, our experience after the installation was overshadowed by the company's approach to payment. I found it extremely disappointing how aggressively payment was pursued. We were sent an invoice and then repeatedly chased for payment the very same day, with numerous phone calls that felt unnecessary and excessive. Rather than allowing a reasonable amount of time to process the invoice, we felt pressured and spoken to in a way that came across as disrespectful and lacking basic customer courtesy. Making customers feel harassed immediately after completing what should have been a positive experience is not the level of professionalism we expected.

It's a real shame because the quality of the installation deserves praise, but the way we were treated regarding payment left a lasting negative impression. If Eco Energy could improve their customer service and adopt a more respectful and patient approach to invoicing and payment collection, they would provide a much better overall customer experience.

Initially was going to go with them for a new Heat Pump installation.Booked in for a no obligation quote. Salesman from the Company, a John Jarvie turned up to do the quote, and measure up. Told me that the total cost would be £16450,and with the government grant and loan totalling £15000,i would be just due the £1450,and an 'administration fee' of £349, which I was told would cover all the company admin costs of setting up the installation, which I found strange.They also agreed to help me set up the funding application. After hearing nothing from them for a few days, I managed to complete the funding application myself, and decided to cancel the agreement with them. However, the day after receiving this I got a call from Thomas apologising, stating he was on holiday. He then explained that I would, despite getting the funding, have to pay 40% of the cost of the job upfront, over £7000 prior to fitting, which I would get back from Home Energy Scotland after the job was completed, something which I was not told at the time by John Jarvie. I explained to Thomas this would not be possible, as I didn't have those sorts of funds, so he told me he would speak to his Manager to 'see what he could do'. However, I heard nothing back for a couple of days, then called him back to remind him, and he agreed to call me back after 4pm that day. That never happened, and he never called back. I then sent them another message to cancel my contract, and requested my deposit back, only to fall on deaf ears with no response. Since I paid my deposit by card, I have contacted my bank to initiate a charge back from them, and will also be reporting them by making a complaint about them to MCS who they are seemingly certified with.

We have been getting quotes for solar panel installation. Most companies send a representative out to inspect the property then provide a quote.
Eco energy did send someone out who was able to provide a verbal estimate. Despite calling a few times a written unite never materialised. A few weeks later we spotted an ad on Instagram which gave the impression that if you were a home owner and Scottish citizen you could get panels installed for little or no cost. I completed the form providing details of the property and expected some sort of estimate at the end. What I got was a call from Eco energy. When I asked for detail of costs I got a rude reply and ended up finishing the call. Eco energy then proceeded to call me a further 4 times in the next 48hours. It appears that the little or no cost deal was out of date!

FROM THE SALESMAN TO THE FITTING TEAM EVRYONE WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND VERY GOOD AT THEIR JOBS. THE WORKMEN LEFT EVERYTHING NEAT & TIDY. OFFICE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY, COULDN'T FAULT ANYONE THAT SPOKE TO US.
