My order I received had a box of brad nails that were the wrong size, the problem was dealt with very quickly by Josh Scott who sorted me out a replacement asap!. I felt this deserved a decent review... Voir plus

Good overall. Only criticism is packing. Just wrapping a cardboard sleeve around a drill battery and then leaving it loose in a larger cardboard box isn't great, although it arrived unscathed.

Born from our 20,000sq/ft premises in Ashford, we come from a business group with over 30 years of experience distributing fixings and construction consumables to some of the largest national infrastructure projects of recent times. We even manufacture our own goods such as drill bits, cutting discs and screws!
Our customer base is diverse, ranging from DIY enthusiasts to professional builders, contractors, and tradespeople. We serve homeowners and individuals looking to tackle home improvement projects, as well as construction companies and businesses in need of bulk fixing supplies. Ordered before 12, rang and confirmed it was in stock and would be delivered next day. Had to go to depot to collect and it was to be delivered 6 or 7 days later!!

Hi Sharon,
I'm genuinely sorry to hear you've had a bad experience with Fixings Store. This is far from the standard we set for our orders, so I have spent the last 48 hours investigating to understand what has gone wrong.
In short, the late delivery was caused by an unforeseen delay in transferring your items from one of our warehouses before we could dispatch. Looking back on our stats, this was a recent abnormality in our order processing timeframes as we haven't had an occurrence like this in over 90 days.
Speaking to a colleague, I can see we are processing a £35 refund on your order for the inconvenience and fuel costs to collecting your order from a local depot.
I am sorry once again and we will do better next time should you give us the opportunity in the future.

I am sorry to see your star rating and feedback comments. This is far from the experience we set out for our customers.
Looking back on your order, I can see you placed it on a Saturday, over the Easter Weekend. In case you weren't aware, we are closed over the weekends and for bank holidays, so the order is naturally going to get processed when we re-open on Tuesday 22nd April.
We do explain our opening hours and processing times on both product information pages (see Delivery Information tab) and on our Delivery page. And I hope you can appreciate placing an order over a bank holiday weekend is going to influence the delivery arrival times of orders.

No free delivery!
State free delivery. Then you get to checkout after completing all the required personal info. They then stick £4.99 delivery on! I hate companies that do this.

"Orders above £75 inc.VAT can enjoy free delivery on us! Any orders beneath this contribute £4.99 towards delivery"

Still waiting for order to be delivered should have been here Friday still no sign according to tracking it’s still in leeds
This is a problem with FED EX not the supplier,who have been very helpful in trying to resolve the issue

Ordering was nice and straightforward
Ordering was nice and straightforward. But unfortunately the box the levels were in was quite bashed, which was very disappointing as this is an 18th birthday present for our grandson. The levels in the box were not damaged but it just looks a bit shabby for an 18th present.

We appreciate your chosen star rating and the feedback regarding the damaged packaging during transit. This wouldn't have looked good, especially on an 18th birthday.
As a business, we do take product packaging seriously and particularly with the spirit levels, due to their size and nature, we prioritise these products with additional packaging measures to really strengthen them up during transit, so it's a shame this wasn't enough to protect them in your case.
