Listened and delivered
Very helpful, treated with total respect, listened to what we wanted and delivered. The Ceremony Room was so much better than the crematorium.
No funeral is nice but this was as good as it gets.

Excellent beyond measure.
At a time of emotional distress when a loved one had died it was so reassuring to be dealt with in such a kind and gracious way. All of the staff I dealt with were caring and kind. It made an awful time more bearable.

Funeral for Vera
We had an unattended funeral arranged by the funeral directors at James Smith in Swanage. Everything was taken care of from bringing the deceased back to her home town, to keeping us informed on the date for cremation, which was arranged to coincide with the church thanksgiving. The staff went above and beyond in the service they provided.

My family's and my grateful thanks to Elise, funeral director, for her understanding when endeavouring to make the arrangements of where the funeral service for my husband was to be held. Also for her continuing help and assistance throughout the days preceding my husbands funeral and on the day itself. Many who attended the actual church service gave me such lovely comments about it and of the printed, beautiful order of service which had been produced by Elise, and who made sure, my and my family's wishes on the content was honoured. Elise worked with my family and myself to give my late husband the best that there could be in what could and ought to have been a very sad occasion but in the end, and throughout the experience, she was so helpful and understanding and we are so grateful for that.

Kind, helpful and professional
Mark and Elise were both very kind, helpful and professional. I had spoken to Mark a couple of times on the phone and when we went in to make the arrangements we met Elise. We were only arranging a simple cremation but definitely felt that Mum was in safe hands.

Sadly we lost our beautiful daughter in August this year.
As we live in Wimborne our nearest Funeral director was Douch & Small in Leigh Road Wimborne.
We arranged a meeting with them and was welcomed by Amy. From the very start she made us at ease and explained the details of what they could do for us to make things a little easier.
I would like to thank Douch and Small especially Amy as she was so caring, compassionate and thoughtful throughout the whole process. Also would like to thank Martin the celebrant who delivered the service with great compassion and professionalism.
