Warmth & support at an overwhelming time
During such a sad and overwhelming time, the team at Corfe Mullen were friendly and helpful - it felt that nothing was too much for them. The service provided was personal, sympathetic and tailored to our needs and specifications. Thank you Danielle and co for supporting us through this terrible time with warmth and respect. Excellent friendly family funeral directors
I have used Douch and Small twice now and have found them extremely efficient, helpful and friendly.
They provide you with all of the options and discuss what would be best for your loved one. Funerals can be very expensive, but Douch and Small are transparent about their services and don’t make you feel you have been taken advantage of financially at one of the most vulnerable times in your life.

Everyone was so kind and helpful, taking the time to assess and advise on your personal requirements. This made a sad and difficult time so much easier.
The venue is well designed and the ability to accommodate refreshments in situ is an attractive option, especially if many people attending the service are elderly.

Compassionate and professional
We had a great experience from initially speaking to Elise, the funeral director who was compassionate and caring until the funeral itself which was organised with great care and professionalism. After Mum passed away
After Mum passed away, the company acted in a very professional manner nothing was too much. they had a great level of understanding and told me how the whole process over the next few weeks before the funeral would work and gave me great advice about the funeral itself involving catering and the venue. Everything went according to plan and the day was for a funeral very very good the on-site facilities I thought with brilliant people were able to come and be under one roof for the funeral and the meeting of friends and family afterwards.

Throughout the whole process of sorting out arrangements all staff encountered were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything dealt with compassion and reverence.
Have never had to organise a funeral before so found this very daunting- it went like clockwork both my mother and me were more than satisfied and surprised at the cost- was expecting it to be expensive but found it to be very reasonable.

I can’t recommend AE Jolliffe (Douch Family)Funeral Directors enough. They are not only extremely professional but show endless kindness and a real understanding of the difficult time you are going through. The site at Victoria Rd in Ferndown has a beautiful ceremony room with an attached room for catering should you want it. All under one roof is so much easier to organise.

Peter was kind and helpful
Peter, in Blandford Forum, was very kind and patient with our questions and worries. We had quite an untraditional ceremony (a natural burial at Shillingstone) but he ensured all went without a hitch. We did most - if not all - of our own "extras" (car, flowers, order of service) and he didn't try to sell us anything we hadn't asked for. The instructions given to the family bearers were very clear, and the professional team (for the lowering of the coffin, and operating music etc) were very professional. Thank you Peter and team.
