The Lawno was not exactly what I needed…
The Lawno was not exactly what I needed for my property as I didn't watch the entire promotional video and discovered it was tailored to the older user. Gardeners Crate turned out to be fantastic about it, accepted some advice and had no issue with providing a refund without fuss. Good Aussie based company.

Best thing since sliced bread
Truthfully.. best thing since sliced bread !! .. I will admit it took me longer than 5 mins to put it all together but then it was a piece of cake .. battery lasted just over 45mins and that was enough for one session.. with so much less help coming from Aged Care these days, this is a godsend.. cheers .. and thank you for putting this whipper snipper on the market .. Where has the Lawno been all my life. The Lawno has made life so much easier - before I struggled with line & petrol whippersnippers - Lawno makes life easy. So easy in fact.... that my 8 year old has taken the reigns & will no longer let me use it. So devastating!

The fact it was so easy to assemble and…
The fact it was so easy to assemble and easy to use, I couldn't believe just how light it is to pick up, at the moment I'm waiting on a right elbow replacement,being righthanded, no problem, at first, not to sure about buying it, to good to be true, after reading the comments and made in Australia, give it a go and I'm not disappointed, it is going to make gardening a new experience for me, as my husband has a heart condition. I'm now taking over his job, had trouble with the tools we have, now so easy.

The lawno was easy to set up and very easy to use. I’m not a techno person and also am a bit afraid of power tools. The lawno was pretty quiet and didn’t vibrate like some tools. I have carpal tunnel syndrome so I can’t use heavy tools or ones that vibrate as they cause pain in my hands.
I was wondering if you guys could incorporate a switch to turn the lawno on instead of a button you have to hold down as that also starts to hurt my hands.

Better than most but struggles with tough weeds (e.g paspalam)
Mostly it is easy to set up and use. We have some very tough grasses / weeds in the that the unit struggled with but it does it a whole lot better than other battery powered units I have tried.
I reckon it would be good to have a section on the instructions on cleaning the unit. I used compressed air cleaner which did a good job on the head.

Dreams do come true! from doubting Thomas
I was very happy to be able to 'build'my Lawno by myself. I don't usually do this stuff but being on my own you have to give it a go. I did have a problem but the help I received from the Company was fantastic and also the follow up. A couple of years ago Mirboo Nth had a tornado come through my part of town, it caused heaps of damage and I lost 7 huge gum trees. I have planted out many native shrubs and trees and this is where I am going to use the Lawno until they grow a bit more. Keeping the weeds at bay will be easy now.

Lawno report
I purchased the Lawno to provide added support for my Segway Robot Mower. The Segway leaves a narrow channel around the perimeter & cannot effectively sculpt a clean edge around hard surfaces. I found that the Lawno performed both tasks very well & I would highly recommend the product. In addition, I was particularly impressed with the amount of written & video tutorials available to ensure the user had every opportunity to get the most out of the product.

True to advertising!
It is as advertised. I am 5ft and not strong and even I can use this with ease. Well worth it for me. Paid for itself by eliminating the need to pay someone else to mow and edge for me!

Good mower, great customer service
We tried the Lawno mower on a few different lawn types at different growth stages. Worked for some, not for all. We decided to return the mower and found their customer service was extremely good. The owner Nick stepped in to try and rectify any issues. Unfortunately it involved tightening the blades to a level which my elderly mother could not do on her own. Nick was very understanding and agreed a full refund.
Really appreciate their response, and I do genuinely believe it's a good mower, just not for our specific situation.

Excellent Gardening Tool.
Whilst the original delivery was missing some items Nick & his team quickly forwarded the required items in less than 3 days. The installation videos & written instructions made it easy to assemble.
Both the lawn edgeing & the mowing with the blades went well.
Happy with both the guiding edger wheels on the edger and also the mower. Recommend the product to older aussie gardeners, who don't need to struggle with a large petrol driven mower & seperate edger.
Battery Power was excellent & total package is not expensive.😃👍
