Dealing with GMS has been a demonstration of what outstanding customer service can be but so rarely is. Various conversations with other firms led me to believe that selling my mobility scooter would be difficult and that I would receive very little for it. Georgina made handling the whole process simple and hassle free. I was given a very fair offer which I accepted. Collection was then arranged on a date to suit me. Communications throughout were superb. Collection was efficient and on time. Payment made direct to my account very soon after delivery to GMS. The whole experience was easy. GMS should be proud of their outstanding customer service. I would heartily recommend GMS to others.

What a thoroughly open/honest and trustworthy business. I recently needed to part exchange my Pride scooter fo a lighter one. Initial contact was made and prompt reply received from Georgina. From that moment the whole transaction was carried out so professionally. Part exchange allowance very fair,scooter selected was an ex demo in absolute mint
condition. After a few days I had a problem.Luckily I only live 15 miles away so after telephone contact immediate appointment agreed for later the same day. (New scooter folds and fits the car)

I now have two scooters both from GMS and both in extremely good condition.

This is a fantastic company to deal with. They did everything they possibly could to resolve my enquiry and problem. Their phone manner and communication texts were second to none. In particular Jeremy and Joel, who I dealt with, were understanding, kind and efficient, solving my enquiry perfectly. They exchanged my power chair for two mobility scooters for myself and my wife and arranged delivery and collection of chair within two days. Cannot thank this company enough. My Dad sadly passed away and I was in the position of needing to quickly sell his mobility scooter as we needed to clean his bungalow within a certain timeframe. I received a quote from Georgina very quickly upon submitting a contact form and once accepted Georgina remained in close contact with me responding to queries very quickly and effectively. Collection was quickly arranged and was seamless and once Georgina received the scooter the money was transferred to me quickly. Georgina made the whole process of selling the scooter extremely easy and smooth at a very difficult time for me and I cannot thank her enough.

It's a bit of a minefield when you're buying from a company you don't know online - I read the Trustpilot and Google reviews before buying from GMS Mobility and so following my great experience with the company I thought I'd add my feedback too.

Having done the research I knew the model of mobility scooter I wanted for my mum so bought it straight from the website. I felt there was a level of buyer protection given by paying with a debit card and by PayPal (another company I'd been looking at buying from requested a bank transfer which doesn't give you that protection). I immediately called after the payment had gone through to ask if the delivery could be delayed by a couple of days so that I would be in the house to receive it. I spoke with Joel who was already processing my order. He was friendly and professional and reassured me that it would be no problem and sent an email requesting I make a declaration by email of my mum's ongoing health issues in order to qualify for the VAT exemption which I know is standard practice.

The only issue I had was that I hadn't received a notification that the item had been dispatched, so got a bit twitchy on the delivery day and emailed the company. Georgina quickly responded and reassured me that my item was on the way as requested.

Sure enough, a couple of hours ago I received the scooter and the delivery guy even asked if I wanted the wooden pallet it was shipped on or whether I wanted him to remove the scooter from it so I didn't have to dispose of the wood which was helpful. He also gave me an overview of the controls which was an unexpected bonus!

The ex-demonstration scooter is in great condition and came with manual, charger and two keys on a handy lanyard. I had great fun trying it out on my street so I can instruct Mum on how to use it when I surprise her tomorrow morning.

I've already recommended this company to a friend. I'm happy and relieved to say it's the real deal and I'm also chuffed with the price I paid for a nearly-new model.

Contacted to sell my Dads mobility scooter after he had passed away. Georgina was in constant contact arranged to pick up Monday was received Tuesday and money transferred into my bank same day. Would highly recommend excellent customer service.
