My dislike is you have to pay a admin fee to use the app and this is the only way to book the fishery , other than that it’s all good

We do offer a Catch subscription from as little as £1.99 per month, which removes booking fees entirely and unlocks other features. If you’re booking regularly, this can work out as a better value.

Great time catching my PB number of carp in 22 hours (10) the smallest was 6.8lb. The no spodding rule keeps fish roaming and I found much success on the margins with natural baits (well artificial to keep silvers away) the much prefer fishy and hemp ground baits to nutty etc

Doddington lane pits
Doddington lane pits . First time here with my mate 3 hour drive did 72hr and the last night my mates bivvy snapped in the wind so we had to pack up. Only to get to the gates and told we have to pay £40 for them to open gates absolute robbery what do u want him to do sleep out side . Shocking guys who run it are out of order . If u have a amergency and have to leave be properd to pay 40 pound to leave

Hi Terry, you need to amend this review for Catch, as Doddington Lane Pits have not been on Catch for 2 years; you must have booked via another system, as they are on another booking platform.
No fish
Your website is all over the place / the price list needs to explain you can alter at checkout / venue states 11 lakes but when you get there you can only fish 5 and only 2 on a day ticket / I would think these lakes have been netted as just about everyone I spoke to or spoke to me felt they had been ripped off after a week of fishing and not one fish / you couldn't even see any fish topping at night.

We’re sorry to hear the experience didn’t meet expectations. The information shown on listings, including lake access, ticket types, and pricing, is provided by the fishery, but we agree it needs to be clear and easy to understand at the point of booking. Your point around pricing and being able to adjust options at checkout is noted, and we’ll continue to improve how this is presented.
In terms of lake availability on arrival, this is managed by the venue, and we’ll raise this with them to ensure it’s being communicated accurately.
Chichester Lakeside, where you purchased your day ticket for shows, 6 lakes on Catch - 5 of which are bookable, 1 is currently being worked on. Other lakes on the complex are either not open for fishing or are managed as a private membership syndicate. We do not list these lakes on Catch.
Fish activity and catches can vary significantly depending on conditions, pressure, and time of year, but we understand how frustrating it is when a session doesn’t produce the expected results. You mentioned not seeing fish activity at night, but you only booked a day ticket, which finishes at 5.30 pm, so we are a little confused.
If you’re happy to, please contact our support team with details, and we’ll look into this further with the fishery.

We understand how booking multiple days separately can feel repetitive, especially when you’re planning a longer session at the same venue. At the moment, bookings are processed individually based on how venues structure their tickets, but we recognise this isn’t always the smoothest experience for anglers booking multiple days.
