Visited the Chippenham branch for my eye test and new glasses, lovely staff , all so friendly and professional , would definitely recommend them !

Gentleman at Malmesbury store was brilliant! Repaired my glasses immediately after I dropped in on the off chance, and went over and above to ensure everything was fine. Thank you!

Visited Haine & Smith Gorse Hill last week for an eye test, optician examined me very well, made me feel relaxed and confident in his ability. My prescription had changed so I needed to order some new glasses, the dispensing optician listened to what I wanted and help me choose some very nice frames without trying to over sell me anything I neither wanted or needed, overall a very good experience and I will definitely be going back to Haine & Smith for my future needs.

I am not sure I have ever felt so looked after as I did last Wednesday, 31 January 2024, at Haines & Smith in Melksham, Wiltshire. As soon as I walked in with my wife the fantastic Jenny and Sophia were there to look after us in a clean, bright atmosphere and made us feel nothing was too much trouble. I saw the optician, Pardeep, without delay and she is simply the best; she listened carefully to the problems that have developed with my eyes over the last few months and then carried out many tests to discover the reasons, which resulted in a referral to a cornea specialist. As I have Diabetes 2 she even put some drops in my eyes, sent me home for an hour and then immediately saw me again to look into the backs of my eyes to ensure nothing was missed. I challenge anyone to find a better opticians in the Country, I am nearly 64 and have had eye issues since I was about 9 so have seen many opticians down the years and this was my best experience. Thank you everyone.

I have been a customer of Haine & Smith since 2016, and have always been very satisfied by their professionalism, as well as their friendliness and a nothing is too much to ask attitude. Through personal experience I have complete confidence in their optometrists and have never had any problems or doubts whatsoever. I can highly recommend them every time. Give them a visit next time you need an eye examination.

Replaced the broken legs on my rimless glasses in10 mins with a pair found in the store. Lost for words when they would not even charge me. Outstanding service from very friendly people.

Our optician, Rebecca Medlock is professional, efficient, explains everything, makes you feel very well looked after. All of the Warminster staff and friendly and efficient. I never felt I was being pushed into buying anything but when I decided I'd like a new look they couldn't have been more helpful. Can definitely recommend the Warminster practice.

A few years ago my wife had an operation at Bristol Eye Hospital to repair a macular hole in her left eye. She also has wide angle glaucoma in both eyes. Four days ago she told me she woke up with a bottle shaped, fairly transparent, large floater in the same eye.

My first instinct was to phone our GP and was told that I needed to go through an optician to get a referral so I then phoned Haine & Smith in Corsham.

We have lived in Corsham for over 35 years and both my wife and I have had our eyes tested and expensive glasses supplied by them every 2 years or so. I was told that there were no optometrist appointments available and to phone CUES (Community Urgent Eyecare Service). They listened to my wife's description of the problem and history of her eye problems and said they would try and get her an appointment at an optician within 30 mins travel of Corsham. That was 4 days ago!

We feel thoroughly let down by our GP Surgery, Haine & Smith and CUES. At least with Haine & Smith we can take our custom elsewhere.

Whenever I visit this store the staff are friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble, and there is a high level of professionalism. I would highly recommend.

Great staff, friendly and informative atmosphere, great range of frames and lenses.

All staff were knowledgeable approachable and caring. The optician took time to ensure I understood my eye test and took time to explain what he was doing and what the results meant. Staff were helpful when it came to deciding on lenses and frames and I didn’t feel rushed or pressured at any time. I particularly appreciated the help in decking which frames suited me best and I’m delighted with the frames they recommended which were at the cheaper end of the options available.
