HelloFresh delivers (both literally and figuratively) in every way they say they will. It’s exciting to open my new box each week. Everything is beautifully packaged (as eco-friendly as possible) and super fresh. Quality is the name of the game. Beautiful flavours too - the chef creating the recipes must be very talented. Ive been more than pleased i signed up with HelloFresh.

I have loved the meals so far
I have loved the meals so far. Am a bit annoyed as last week I ordered the roast chicken. I knew it was dearer, but it seems I paid for the 3 meals and then an extra $15 on top. Prob my own fault. Will stay away from those ones from now. By the way it was 🌹 lovely.

Good food but can't reuse the recipes
We have bought Hello fresh meals in the past but the biggest drawback is that their recipes never state quantities of anything, so the free downloadable recipes that are available are a waste of time because you can't tell the quantities. We have just been looking for new recipes and can't use any of them. For example, how much is in a packet of Greek yoghurt. How big is a seasonal sachet of anything. You can only tell by buying the meal kits. On the other hand, Bargain Box DOES tell you how much to use and how to make up spice and herb mixes so the recipes are reusable.

Happy so far!
Delivery is good and separate packages. It is good you only have to get two meals, especially being vegetarian so you do get a choice. Didn't get recipe cards the first time and although I got them this time they were screwed up and one was on the glue from the main bag so ripped. Just need to be careful with packaging the cards. Otherwise happy with everything else!

Delivery service
Delivery service. A reasonable range of meal options. Recipes with premeasured ingredients make it easy for teens to cook. Takes some stress out of the week.
However, some of the vegetables are not great quality. The potatoes are often weird and sweet tasting and the tomatoes are always unripe AND bruised. Unripe is ok but bruised is not.
I'd really like to have swapping beef mince for plant based mince as a regular option for meals as this would work better for our whānau.

A very simple addition to your weekly meals
Very simple to place your menu order, and multiple options and time to change any or all dishes. The recipes themselves are simply explained with pictures to help keep you on track as you go.
Delivery service has been good with delivery to a rural address within the time frame achieved.
