I am extremely disappointed with my…

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with High Skills Training.

The course itself was very good, and we were happy to pay the £10.99 charge for the transcript and certificate.

However, as a local charity, our accountants require proper paperwork for all expenditure, including small amounts. Unfortunately, we were not provided with an invoice or receipt for £10.99.

I contacted High Skills Training several times to request written confirmation of what the £10.99 payment was for. I was not even necessarily asking for a formal receipt, simply some written confirmation would have been sufficient.

Despite calling three times, I found the process unnecessarily difficult.

On my most recent call, they actually hung up on me while I was trying to resolve the issue, which was extremely disappointing.

The way calls are answered was also unprofessional, the phone was answered with just “hello” rather than any clear identification as High Skills Training, which did not inspire confidence.

I eventually received an email confirming what the payment related to, but it took multiple calls and unnecessary effort to obtain something that should have been provided in the first place.

It is disappointing because, as a charity, we may have had the potential to use High Skills Training for around 30 members of our team in the future.

However, based on the customer service experience, we would now think carefully before recommending or using them again.

A good training provider should also provide good administrative support, especially when customers simply require basic financial documentation.

Do not use.

I am only giving 1 stars as the course was good, based on their administration i wouldn't rate them at all.

a friendly and knowledgeable team behind highskillstraining

In my opinion, the "First Aid for Animals" training course offers valuable instruction.

When there was initially an issue with my certificate due to a faulty QR code, my personal inquiry was handled via email in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
Issuing a new document was no problem for them, either.

Kudos to the team!

Easy to use the site

Easy to use the site. everything is explained really well. I paid £35 for the pet health course but did have to pay an additional £8 for my certificate to be posted to me.
