Horrendous service. Placed an order on 13/7 and money left bank immediately. They had our postcode from the start but today I had an email to say they cannot deliver as they have no baby tanker. Previous suppliers had always delivered in a full size tanker with no issues. My mum is 98 and has priority healthcare needs but they were not bothered. Could not get to speak to someone and the reply did not even have a name. I wish I had read all these negative reviews first. Of course they deny that they have cancelled my order because of the intervening price increase but I do not believe it.
Companies who treat their customers so badly should not be allowed to even trade.
I am disgusted.
And to add insult to injury they say it will be five days before I even get my refund so can’t even order from anther source.
I would welcome your feedback HomeFuels. Will definitely be reporting you to trading standards.

I may be a cynic but, HomeFuels Direct's web site hung up after I completed the order and approved the payment with my bank. I checked with Home Fuels Direct next morning. They answered that they could see my order but it was not completed and not paid for and suggested I visit their website and complete. After checking my bank app to ensure the payment was not pending I did indeed re-visit their site and had to restart the order from scratch. The real issue is the the price had increased 5ppl in the hours between their site shutting down my order and me being able to complete. As I say I may be a cynic, but, it occurs to me that the delay was deliberate to increase the price.

I placed a order on the 29th June, promised delivery by 8th July. Was told order was coming on 8th mid morning of the 8th told via email delivery not coming as no driver available. Still haven't got a date of delivery as I write. Good thing they don't organise a party in a brewery.

I always dread ordering fuel for my Aga from Home Fuels as I’m never sure if it has gone through correctly. That said, it always has and the price was always unbeatable but I always found the website tricky to negotiate. Fortunately I had my son here.

I like the website, it's so easy to use. They keep you up to date with deliveries and the delivery drivers are really helpful and polite.

Wouldn't normally hesitate from ordering heating fuel from Home fuels direct however after today's quote I'm now ordering from Johnston fuels here in Scotland, Home fuels direct today 27th May = £1.15 ppl
Johnston oils = £0.94 ppl.
Bit of a no brainer appears that Home fuels direct is now milking the price increase ie profit over customer loyalty.
Edit 16/6/26 seems Home fuels has reviewed there charge base as upon checking, the new quote is now very competitive and more inline with others, have updated my initial star rating thanks

Used to be a very reliable service but now completely unreliable in a way that smacks of incompetence.
I ordered fuel with delivery in three days, namely Thursday 21st May, sounds good. Phone call from Certas, sorry mix up now two weeks delay
My neighbour asked me who I used, she orders the day after I ordered, just been delivered on the Friday 22nd May. Our tanks are on the same property 50 metres apart. This is not the first time this has happened.

Home Fuels Direct extremely competitively priced the ordering process is very easy, quick and efficient.

This company was the cheapest at such an unpredictable time with regards to oil. They were also the quickest delivery without adding extra on for the quick delivery. Highly recommend. LA 20/05/26

firstly the price in these uncertain times, it was by far the lowest I could find plus the delivery time was better than most. I have used Home Fuels before and will certainly use them again
