Smooth riding from start to finish
From start to finish, the whole process was incredibly smooth. I had previously dealt with someone else but unfortunately that sale fell through.
The second time around, I had the pleasure of dealing with Charmayne Smith and she was absolutely fantastic. She clearly knew exactly what she was doing and made the entire process straightforward and stress-free.
As I drive HGVs for a living, I’m not always able to answer my phone. Charmayne completely understood this and only contacted me when necessary, which I really appreciated.
Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Charmayne was professional, efficient and absolutely brilliant throughout the entire process.
Overall, I would highly recommend both Charmayne and the company. Excellent service from start to finish.

Absolutely awful company to deal with
I am currently in the process of exchanging on a property and dealing with Iamsold has been an absolutely awful experience.
Communication is virtually non existent. I have spent over an hour on hold trying to get through by phone and still received no answer. Emails are just as frustrating — rather than responding properly to the questions or concerns raised, the communication seems to consist mainly of whatever they want to tell you and demands for things they want from you.
When you are dealing with something as important and stressful as a property purchase, you expect a company involved in the process to be contactable, responsive and professional. Unfortunately, my experience with iamsold has been the complete opposite.
I am now at the exchange stage and simply trying to get clear answers and speak to someone should not be this difficult.
Absolutely awful customer service. Based on my experience so far, I would not recommend Iamsold.

Main criticism is that iamsold rep gave us very poor advice which could have cost us £43k
Good thing was that the process of selling our house by modern auction turned out in the end to be a successful and efficient way to get the best price in a defined time-frame.
Bad things:
1. The company was impossible to contact by phone - you always had to leave a message to be called back.
2. The sale of our property seemed to be falling through until the last minute and we had the feeling that iamsold had not made proper checks that the buyers could actually afford the bid they made.
3. THE MOST IMPORTANT CRITICISM was that in the weeks leading up to the closing date, the iamsold rep tried on several occasions to get us to close the auction early and accept the leading bid at that point. She pushed this very hard. This occurred when the top bid was £170k and again at £180k. She gave us no proper reason to close early. We advised her that we would not close until the advertised end date. The final winning bid was £213k. The iamsold rep was on first name terms with some of the bidders and we were left very suspicious that our best interests as vendors were not paramount. Closing early would have cost us £43k but the rep never acknowledged this and we were left wondering if she had ulterior motives for her advice to close early.

Selling with Blundells and iamsold
Overall selling with Blundells and Iamsold worked out well to achieve a quick sale. It was disappointing not to get closer to the original estimated price and to need 3 rounds of auctions to sell but very pleased to sell for a reasonable price in the end and complete before winter. There were a few glitches with Docusign but overall good that this could be completed online rather than all needing to travel long distances to sign in person. Communications with the team were always friendly and helpful but not forthcoming, felt left in the dark at times.
