I am leaving the lowest possible rating because I feel completely ripped off.I purchased the Maverick model on May 30, 2025. I could not even finish wearing them for a second summer season because the sole on one of the sandals completely split open. On the other sandal, the sole has already started cracking in the exact same spot.When I brought them back to the store, I was told that since the shoes are over a year old, they cannot process this as a warranty case. In reality, these shoes were only worn for 4 months in 2025 and another 4 months in 2026.I reached out to the company's official customer support email and attached photos of the defect, but I have received absolutely no response for over two weeks. This footwear only looks and costs like a high-quality product, but the actual durability is unacceptable.

It is rare for me to find boots that are comfortable as soon as I put them on, due to my wide feet and bunions. These boots are not only excellent quality and very comfortable but they look great as well. I would highly recommend them and will definitely look at Josef Seibel for other shoes I need.

Very, very squeaky right inside foot sole. Complained and asked for ONE new insole and told I probably had one foot larger that the other therefore it could be slipping or it was the sole itself. Neither of which was correct, as I tried the shoe without the insole and it didn't squeak. Unfortunately leaving the insole out meant there was no cushioning, very uncomfortable, defeating the object of the comfy fit!
No replacement insole and told nothing they could do about it. This was my second purchase from Josef Siebel. Disgusting for the price you pay. Will never purchase Josef Seibel again.

The sole on my shoe became detached after just a few months. I’ve been given a full refund but I have never had a problem like this with shoes.

I ordered the Josef Seibel Ibiza 70 because I loved my Romika Ibiza 70 so much and they have been rebranded / bought by Josef Seibel.

My new shoes are completely different. Different leather, construction, and say made in China whereas my originals were made in Hungary. Really disappointed with the new ones as they are much lower quality. Felt like a bait and switch since they were still a premium price for sub-par materials.

Bought a pair of shoes 7-8weeks ago. Normally work shoes would last me 2-3years, however the sole of both shoes have since completely come away from the shoe. £99 mid-range shoe of terrible quality.

I have always in the past been satisfied with J.Siebel products. Purchased Walking Sandals, and slip on sandals. Unfortunately, at the end of a hot day, they are aggravating my feet and ankles. I would say, something to do with chemical reaction. Itchy, very dry and sore puffy feet, very uncomfortable. Noticed they were produced in China, say no more, re materials and adhesives they use., no doubt very chemical based. Will have to be very careful in future, as they were expensive, such a waste of hard earned money. To end very surprised where they were made, also a strong smell of glue. A pity an excellent brand, now not worth it any longer., expensive mistake:

I purchased Josef Siegel a sandals some years ago; however, I only had them on maybe 10 times or less. One day I was out, it began to drizzled a little and when I came in, the whole sole had come apart from the cork heal. For me, that Wes very embarrassing. I was out enjoying the gospel choir and who knows how long my shoe was in this condition.. After paying a least $125.00 for this pair of sandals,I must say I am very disappointed. I tried to find a telephone number, but unfortunately, I could not find any, so, I decided to write the review. Prayerfully, something can be done.

After having a pair for at least 5 years and finding them very comfortable, with no problems I bought a new pair.
Firstly on getting them home they smelt fishy, what glue is used?
Secondly the shoe insoles have not been stitched/glued in so everytime I take them off the shoes the insoles sticks to my foot and comes out of the shoe....very annoying. Have a pic but no facility here to add!

Purchased just over Yr ago only worn few months and the crack appeared in the sole,
I have another pair also that are starting to go same way.
Not sure I would buy again expensive sandals for short period of time
They are very comfortable though.

I bought a pair of Capri sandals some 6 weeks agowhich have been worn 4 times and the top has come away and the sole has split on the left shoe. Really disappointed that a company with such a name for quality allows such a shoddy product to be sold with their name on it. I shall never trust the brand again.

look at the reviews 3.8 and if it is higher there is a.ways something which causes hurt on is too high around the ankle. I am still suffering from a diabetic sore caused by these expensive shoes. Not worth the money. Ai is not a good platform for clothes or shoes. They don’t actually do research or testing.testing. They copy what they find in advertising.

Soles split within 3 months. Carnegie shoes koornang st Carnegie Melbourne refused refund or credit. Said I'd used them too much! Won't be going there again.

I love buying from Josef Seibel! The first thing we see is the quality of the packaging and invoicing. Delivery too, is professional from DPD. My order arrived speedily too. Nice company to deal with.

I sadly returned my last order because the leather around the heel on the sandal was too high and pressed against the ankle. The lovely looking stitching of the leather shoes is normally attractive but as a sandal where it joined the sole also irritated the bottom of my foot. Loved the look and colour. Sad because they were on sale too and I needed a sandal. But will have another look to see what’s on offer. Love their shoes, quality, styles, colours, and definitely prefer leather. I have narrow feet and this company fits the bill.

I'm advised by physiotherapist to wear shoes with a firm grip on the heel, to keep our legs straight up; not bowing in anyway; to prevent our joints going all over the place. So I would like to see this in the description somewhere, of their shoes to let us know how firm the heel cups are. Especially trainers. I’d appreciate that 👌
