An excellent key safe, does exactly as advertised. The compartment size is sufficent to accommodate my safe keys which are longer than normal lever lock keys. What more could you ask.
Very robust key safes - but good tools needed for fitting… Self-tapping screws are VERY tight in a 5mm hole - needed to use a 30m Torx socket on a socket wrench to get them in. One sheared off. Tha... Voir plus
Peace of mind and satisfied my home insurance in purchasing the police preferred safe. It was well received, it's robust and came with parts for installation. Easy to fix.

The safe arrived within 24 hours of ordering. I opted for their installation service. I recieved a phone call the very same day the safe arrived to arrange an installation date. The following day the engineer arrived and installed the safe. He also explained how the safe worked and as I am a bit of a technophob he demonstrated how to programme in the security code. Excellent service I would highly recommend this company

You're right—it certainly feels robust! While we wouldn't recommend testing it yourself, our key safes have undergone extensive attack testing using a range of tools, including hammers, to ensure they meet the high security standards our customers expect. So please don't try this at home!

Good quality and service
Good range of products and competitively priced. Service was excellent and the Ark Tamo key safe is of very high quality. Fitting is straightforward for someone with basic DIY ability. Ensure you offer the key safe up to the wall to ensure it is flat and doesn't wobble, and use the template before drilling. Setting the code is easy [once you get your head around the fact it is the number of times each number is used, rather than the sequence of the numbers!]

Very robust product giving a sense of reassurance
Delivered sooner than expected (on a Sunday, even), and had a call from the installer within the 5-7 working day window promised by The Key Safe Company. He advised me to set the code prior to his arrival – sound advice, as the safe took a little time to open, initially, while making settings inside the device certainly required close attention to the excellent little instruction/installation manual (an actual booklet, not a pdf!). Once done, everything was intuitive.
The technician was able to come the following day and used two types of drill to make installation on my rendered wall. He mentioned something about missing a "blower" - I think he meant he might normally have a suction device/bag attached to the drill to collect debris. In the absence of such, brick dust from the drilling accumulated in the work area.
The safe itself seems to be incredibly sturdy and weighs a lot for its relatively small size (probably it has layers of steel reinforcement). It gives a feeling of confidence and reassurance that there is a spare key easily accessible, should I lose or forget my own.
The push-button digits illuminate once the "clear" button is moved, and that is when the code gets entered for opening the safe.
The battery is only needed for illumination purposes; it does not control the opening and closing process which is entirely mechanical and would still work even with a flat battery.
