Kimberley - The Caravan & Motorhome People - Darlington Avis 

We attended the Oct 2025 NEC show in Birmingham, whilst there we ordered our Swift Elegance 850. Richard Dinsdale was fantastic in getting the order sorted, Kimberley kept us up-date on delivery times and Richard was always to hand answering any questions. When collecting Benson was very in-depth with all controls and made the experience fun. Well-done Kimberley.... following this my daughter and family friends also purchased their Swifts, Again they were really pleased with the service!!!! :-)

Great selection of new and used caravans on site. The staff are very friendly and professional. Tom was great on the sales side of things, and Paul was marvellous at handing over, and explaining all of the workings of the caravan. Can’t praise them both enough. I would definitely recommend Kimberly caravans to anyone who is looking to purchase a caravan. Great team.

I've just bought a new caravan from Kimberly, and I can't recommend them enough. Tom wasn't pushy at all. He gave us all the time we needed to make our decision. He was very friendly and helpful, and answered all our queries.
The handover was brilliant and very clear. In fact, every member of staff we came across were all polite and helpful. This made our experience a very pleasureable one.

When it came to buying our new van, Tom was helpful in answering our various queries. The process of trading in was very smooth and efficient. The handover from Paul and Benson was thorough and they were both very personable, knowledgeable and helpful. Overall, a very relaxed and professional experience.

Review – Kimberley Caravan and Motorhome
The salesman was not pushy at all and gave us a very relaxed experience. He showed us around the motorhome thoroughly, including how to transform the bench seats into belted travel seats, along with many other helpful features.
We were then given time to look around by ourselves, which we really appreciated, but he remained available to answer any questions if needed.
After the sale and before collection, he made himself available when we returned to take measurements inside the van, which was very helpful.
The handover was completed by Benson and his colleague, who took their time and went through everything at our pace, ensuring we fully understood how everything worked.
Overall, it was an excellent service, and I would highly recommend Kimberley Caravan and Motorhome.

The company has an amazing range of both caravans and caravan equipment at reasonable prices. The staff are so nice and friendly and very helpful. I had a great lesson by Benson Adams when collecting my new caravan his knowledge of my caravan was excellent and made me feel very confident in what to do with all the gadgets.

We have just bought our caravan from Kimberley Caravans, Richard the salesmen was great, Benson and Paul the handover agents were well knowledgeable and went through everything in great detail. Nothing was too much trouble for Simon in the shop either, helping getting us kitted out with an awning and other accessories to go with our new van. Highly recommended based on the service received.

After picking up our motorhome which allegedly had been thoroughly prepared over the week before handover. We found various minor issues which must have been obvious to the prep team but had not been highlighted to me. Then on our first trip out the engine battery failed and the tracker has responded continuously as a result. Hopefully all the issues will be resolved promptly. I paid good money for the vehicle and my trade in was perfect and is now on the site for sale with no issues. Hopefully all will be resolved assp.

We’ve had an appalling experience. Short story - we ordered an £95k Affinity One campervan at the Feb 2025 show - yes 2025. Agreed a trade in. Waited. Waited. August 2025 delivery became September, then October then……it’s April 2026 and we are still waiting. Affinity says it no longer has a UK dealer. No word from Kimberley. I’ve written, called etc. One call back saying nothing really. I’ve written to the CEO - doesn’t even answer. They have a £5k deposit and I think they also owe me interest and a compensation payment for the distress and inconvenience they have caused. Clearly, they sold us a van they had no way of actually supplying. Clearly, they haven’t been honest about their relationship with Affinity which has clearly broken down completely. If they had at least tried to manage my expectations or better, been honest that they cant fulfill our contract that would be something. But they simply ignore me. They get good reviews and awards so must be doing something right - but they have messed us around for 14 months and now ignore me.

Paul made us feel very welcome and he took a lot of time introducing us to our new caravan. He was very knowledgeable about the unit and ensured the explanation he gave us was understandable. He allowed times for questions to make sure we understood the systems, and his suggestion to record the introduction was much appreciated as there was a lot of information being passed. Top marks Paul!

We picked our new coachman 575 up today and had the most comprehensive and informative handover ever.
Benson and Paul did a great job, and we drove away confident that we had been given all of the information that we needed to enjoy our new caravan to the full.

Nice easy experience where I felt the organisation listened to my requirements. As always price could have been better.

We met Chris from Kimberley at the NEC who managed to talk us out of a lot of money for the caravan 😬. The caravan was ready for collection a lot sooner than we were and Kimberley had no problem keeping it stored until we were ready which was a really big help, no hassle or complaint, just understanding. On collection, Bendin and his “apprentice” Paul, took us through the caravan, making sure we understood everything and had all the correct gear and were really helpful. Most importantly, they made sure we had correctly attached the ‘van to the car, so it didn’t slide off up the road! The whole experience was really easy and I would definitely recommend Kimberley Caravans!

Completed warranty repair using genuine manufacturer parts.
Long process as fault identified in August 2025 when parts were ordered and only being completed Feb 26. Appears I hadn't been notified to arrange a date for repair?
It's only when I popped in when passing the error was realised.

Very warm and friendly welcome when we called to collect our new caravan. Comprehensive walk round the exterior and interior of the caravan with every function clearly explained and our questions answered with equal clarity. I actually thought that customer service of this level only existed nowadays in such as top quality hotels.
