Marley Natural Shop Avis 

I bought a shoe from Marley but never received it. On chasing them for an update I was told once an item is marked as delivered they aren't interested anymore. I supplied them with photos of my property to compare with that of delivery photos which has nothing to do with my address but they weren't interested. See their response below

Really wish I had read reviews before purchasing. Shoes arrived were nothing like the picture - cheap cheap cheap - arrived from China, probably worth no more than a few £s and when I tried to return, would cost me more in postage and customs duty despite their website saying costs would be covered by them. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

I bought a pair of Marley Shoes described as orthopaedic. They were in fact fashion shoes and not the quality I was expecting. When I requested a refund I was offered either 30% refund or a full refund if I returned them to China, paid the customs and tracking. As their website has a banner purporting to be a family UK business I was not expecting to have to send returns to China. Be warned.

Like many people writing a review, I was totally scammed by the poor quality shoes that arrived in the wrong size without a returns label. I also could not contact the company and had continual bounce-backs to my emails. The worst was yet to come as I contacted my bank and found that Marley Shoes had set up a continuous payment on my account so that it could obtain more money. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR BANK IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY DONE SO. Barclays was extremely helpful and efficient and I will get my money back. What a terrible thing to do to people!

How can we avoid using fraudulent websites like this? Can the UK government help protect customers and raise awareness about scam websites, especially those based in China?

SCAMMERS!!! After waiting almost four weeks no shoes don’t buy anything from them!

I can see that from the number of these pairs of boots on Vinted, that they are scammers. I recently had a similar experience with orthopedic bras. I think these people prey on the elderly who are searching for comfortable shoes due to arthritis, etc and may get flummoxed by returning lousy goods. May I offer a word of advice… you can get your money back. Please take pics of the original boots and description, then the actual item that arrives in its packaging, I also did a picture of the item on the scales which shows they are not a family company or premium leather quality, just rubbish from a far off country that would cost a fortune to return. I then opened up a claim with either my credit card or PayPal and explained item was NOT SOLD AS SEEN OR EXPECTED. It took very few days to get my money back. I hope this helps people as I was off with an operation and was vulnerable but actually had the time and patience to challenge these scammers. Now I can spot them a mile off. PLEASE ASK FOR YOUR MONEY BACK WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD, they will do all the hard work for you and hopefully together we can prevent others getting scammed!

This is for MARLEY SHOES The company website claims to be a UK-based company, and returns are paid for by the customer. I wasnt worried, as it would be in the UK. Only, NOT--the boots shipped from China. They weren't orthapaedic in the least, and not wide width as they were supposed to be. They're not suede, and in fact are made of fabric. In writing for a return label (I thought), the directions were to return them at my cost to China. I emailed again to say if my payment wasn't returned (and he could have the boots collected), that I'd be ringing my bank and reporting this as fraud online as well. No reply. I rang my bank today, and the payment was entered by the merchant-thief as a RECURRING payment.

After waiting weeks for my delivery. It finally arrived as a crumpled wrapped package. No shoe boxes just wrapped in bubble wrap.
I ordered 2 pair of boots
One pair black & the other brown plus a pair of trainers.
I received 2 black pairs of the same boots. No brown boots and a crumpled pair of cheap trainers.
Tried to contact the company to complain . The email bounced back saying email address couldn't be found!

Complete scam, do not buy anything from the website.
You don’t get your shoes and they don’t return your emails.

Not even one star.
Absolute scam wrong boots delivered and can't return because their e mails are not delivered

Tried to contact them on 3 different email addresses. All been returned.

The shoes are crap quality, if they were 3 pounds off Temu, then you wouldnt be disappointed.

Where the other reviews on their site come from i have no idea.

If you are looking for shoes that will last more than a week, dont buy these.

The shop does not even desrve a single star but that option is not available. The Shoes is not close to what is advertised, nor made of real leather as mentioned in website description, but some cheap faux material - just awfull and this company need to be reported!!!

i paid for a pair of trainers and still not arrived and no response to my emails and where it says in email click for support i clicked it and it comes back saying there is no such email i will be phoning my bank tomorrow

SCAM BEWARE
the boots i ordered eventually arrived but were definitely not as advertised. apart from being the wrong size they are of the cheapest, worst quality imaginable. probably cause injury to feet if worn. no paperwork or return details. just arrived in a chinese plastic bag smelling toxic.

I mirror all the reviews on this company. Emails keep bouncing back. Zero communication. If I do receive the order, after reading the reviews, I am dreading what I do receive. I wish like many others that I had read trust pilot as I would never had ordered the trainers. Avoid at all cost!!!!!

I paid extra for fast delivery and waited over 2 weeks for my boots to arrive, I ordered a size 8 but received something more like a 10! It stated they were leather but in fact are actually a really cheap, poor quality plastic coated imitation material. I paid a premium price for something that is sub-standard quality that even a local market stool wouldn’t sell at a snip of the price! No response when emailed the company for a refund, no ways of communicating with them as no telephone number supplied, Gutted beyond belief doesn’t even come close, I feel like I have been mugged off!

Absolute pile of rubbish, I paid £50 for a pair of trainers to support my feet, they took 5 weeks because they came from abroad and I’ve never seen such a shoddy pair of trainers ever, they we like putting in concrete boots, the lip was stapled in! Do NOT waste your money on this company

Delivery arrived open , badly wrapped with 1 very poor quality shoe inside !!
Might well be a postal issue but can’t get hold of company . Emails bounce back and messages don’t reach company. I wish I’d read these reviews first but live and learn
