The guy that came did a fab job, he was really nice and polite and I would recommend to anyone! He even moved my plant pots around and washed down the front of my property afterwards- really grateful- Thank you x

Great service

Great service.

We had a blocked bath and sink upstairs, hair (once again) from the girls in my house. Anyway, Brin came over at the time he was expected and I received a call from their office to tell me they were on the way. Brin was professional, polite and just a decent guy. He managed to unblock the pipe in minutes, I was over the moon.

We have used other companies in the past, but will use MetroRod if we are unfortunate enough to have the issue again.

The drain was blocked and a pleasant…

The drain was blocked and a pleasant young man called Owen not only cleared the blockage but swept and cleaned the overflowing debris on my patio.
He arrived after 8pm, even though it was dark. He was very polite.Job well done!

Booked to empty two septic tanks at same location, charged the same amount for both jobs even though one was documented for less money due to no call out fee/ no travelling time and it was only half empty.
Promised mutable times that the bill would be looked at and reduced. Over 6 months later no alterations and broken promises.
Throughly dissatisfied and disappointed with the company.
Money grabbing at the very least with bad communication skills.
Will not be using for any of my property portfolio or large family custom.

Dundee mertrorod were very good

Dundee mertrorod were very good, our engineer William was top notch and very informative, the only reason why we didn’t give 5* was that the pricing for the job was a bit opaque, an hourly rate included in the job quote would be helpful.

Really good service

Really good service . The y let me know when they would arrive and weee on time. Lewis was on it straight away and sorted the problem with no fuss ! Even took the time to send me some pictures so I could split the bill with the neighbour.

A good drain survey company

This company gave a first class excellent service in challenging circumstances. They were quick to respond and kept me informed at each part of the inspection. I would recommend this company

Roadside drain car key retrieval

I was in a huge dilemma this morning. I had just visited my mother in hospital and when I returned to my car I opened the car door, my keys fell out of my hand and fell down the roadside drain/gutter! I did not know what to do! I called metro rod. They were so helpful, understanding and when Nathan and James came they were so efficient, thoughtful, lifted my spirits and retrieved my keys in no time at all. They were my knights in shining armour and I would highly recommend them to anyone with drain issues. They were also very affordable.

Stretched the job to charge more!

SLOW!!! Really stretched the job out. I didn't realise at the time until I got the bill. Lots of standing around and chatting and now I realise why. If you book them keep an eye on them and make sure they are working. 1.5hours to rod a drain! Never booking or recommending again.

DO NOT USE! Disorganised and expensive

If I could give negative stars I would. I attempted to book this company for a CCTV inspection of some outside pipes. I made a call on the Friday and provided all the information they requested, I was given an appointment on the following Tuesday, which I was very happy with. I was told on the phone that they would send a payment link as they require payment up-front and the cost of the service was £160.
This is where it all started to go wrong. No payment link arrived. On Saturday I emailed to advise this and could they get back to me, they didn't. On Sunday I called and got no answer, so tried their chat service. The AI could not resolve my issue and I was connected with a human. She also could not help me as there was no one at the Norwich office she could speak to. She did send my details over to them for them to call me first thing Monday morning. They did call, and said they had no record of my enquiry and their was no appointment booked for Tuesday, I explained what I needed, and was told the cost was £298, I said that I did not wish to proceed as they had given me no confidence in their company so far and that the price had doubled in 3 days.
I called Dyno-Rod, the booking was fast, efficient and £175 for the same issue!
