We ordered a skip that for delivery on Friday but didn't arrive after waiting fir it all day. Phoned to find out if it might be delivered Saturday morning or for a refund to be told first they didn't know and second that a refund would take 5 working days to arrange. In the meantime we’re out of pocket and unable to order a skip from a different company. The “always exceeding your expectations” line that you hear, as you hold for ages on the phone, is a joke. It turns out Mick George don't even know the local companies they work with so cant give you a number to deal with them directly.
My advice is to avoid this group if you want reliability.

I ordered the MOT and soil aggregates. The delivery arrangement is smooth and shipment made in two days. Impressive!

Shocking service. We have been waiting almost a month to have our skip collected. They don't respond to emails. If you phone, you get put on hold for a number no one hardly ever answers. And if you finally do get to speak to someone, you're fobbed off with "we'll put it down for urgent next week", but apparently next week never comes. The idea of waste collection is that you collect the waste! We didn't just want a giant bin to keep on the drive.

Very friendly service. The price was very competitive. The skip arrived before 08:00 hrs, so I had no delays in the work I had to do. Once I'd filled the skip, I notified the company, and they removed the skip within a couple of days. Would definitely use this company again.

I recently used Mick George for a home project and received absolutely outstanding service. Booking a skip for a domestic property can sometimes be stressful, I initially booked the incorrect type and size of skip, but Victoria from the customer service team made the entire process incredibly smooth, helpful, and hassle-free. The skip arrived exactly on time, was placed perfectly. Having clear pricing and such helpful office support makes a massive difference. The delivery was a bit of a long drawn out experience

This is the 2nd time I’ve had a skip from mick George. First time, collection was literally weeks late and only happened after I called up & complained several times. Should’ve learnt my lesson but I put it down to a bad experience and booked another a few weeks later. I booked for 5 days. The skip should’ve been collected on 12th August. Today is 19th August and it’s still here. Having just called they’ve told me they’re “having issues” and it’ll be picked up on Sept 2nd!! So I’d say go for mick George if you want your drive to be used as a skip storage facility.

The skip was delivered and collected on schedule with no drama. There's not much else can go wrong when hiring a skip so 5 stars it is.

My only interaction is with the website. The product range and details are good but the navigation backwards and forwards for each item is quite tedious as are the repetitive 'pop-ups. Has to put up with that though as the company offer really good quality fencing ( repat customer)
