Great shopping experience
Shalom helped us in store yesterday and made the whole school uniform shopping trip totally painless. All she had to do was look at my son and she got all his sizing correct and found us pretty much everything we needed. What we expected to take ages and be hard work was made easy. Thanks Shalom!
Ps I would prefer it if they opened Tuesdays though! As we had a wasted trip earlier in the week sadly !

I’d like to thank Charlie at Stockport Monkhouse for her excellent customer service.
She helped me with my daughter’s school uniform last year, and when I turned up today with my son without an appointment, despite the store being busy, she was still friendly, helpful and efficient.

SAMEER!!!! 🙌 I attended the bedminster branch where we were greeted by Sameer. I’ve previously had reservations about Monkhouse but never again thanks to this brilliant young man. Sameer was so professional and helpful, showcasing his experience from the bat. He knew my son’s clothing sizes with just looking and made us feel comfortable with no added pressure to buy. Oliver was incredibly patient with my reluctant autistic child. His encyclopaedic knowledge of WW2 was a massive bonus! Honestly we would have had to go home without making purchases without Oliver’s help.

We went in and as my brother was trying…
We went in and as my brother was trying on some clothes and a young boy who had long hair who worked their was on his phone sitting down and sighing loudly and clearly at us and as another women came over to tell us the store was shutting soon and my mum was telling her how it says on the actual app it says 5pm shut he slyly rolled his eyes thinking no one saw him but I did and I was appalled and when he was scanning another customers item he was clearly being rude and sighing loudly at the man and just being straight up rude it’s disgusting customer service and I don’t expect it from anyone not to mention he’s clearly just too busy on his phone to do anything I am not happy

Awful service. Young long haired gentleman on his phone, rolling his eyes, sighing at customers. Completely and awfully rude to a darker skinned man at the till did not greet him, rolled his eyes when he asked for a bag and kept sighing. disgrace!!

Cheltenham store
We were served by a fantastic young lady - Ruby @ Cheltenham, who knew exactly what to get for us and by eye could assess the correct sizes. This meant is was easy to try on just a couple of options. Anything that was unavailable in store was written down for us to be able to order separately. The whole experience was quick and easy at a very busy time and made what could have been fraught and frustrating, calm and relaxed as it should be. Highly recommend
