Never received product
Placed an order on April 15th and my credit card was charged but I have yet to receive anything from them. Not looking for a refund but rather wanted the product that we had heard so much about. I think that’s ample time to receive the order I placed 7 weeks ago.
🌟🌟I want to Edit this review! After I placed this review the company reached out to me and very quickly found my lost order and it was sent to me & received in a couple of days. Their customer service was outstanding. We have tried the product and enjoy it very much. I am changing my review based on their customer service and quality of the product. I genuinely love Mother Root
I genuinely love Mother Root. My partner and I tried it and were hooked. That’s exactly why I decided to order more bottles on May 18th to take advantage of the pricing discount and free shipping. The product itself deserves five stars. The experience since then? One star, and I’m being generous.
My original shipment never left Georgia. When I contacted support, they were responsive and offered to replace the order with expedited FedEx shipping. I accepted, and that was May 26th. Today is June 1st, six days later, and the replacement hasn’t left Georgia either. It has bounced between five different cities within the state, sometimes backtracking to cities it already visited.
When I asked why the tracking clearly shows FedEx SmartPost, which is definitively NOT expedited shipping, support stopped engaging with the actual question. Every response has been a copy-paste variation of “it’s with FedEx and on its way, track here.” No explanation. No accountability. No phone number to call, email only.
I’ve spent nearly $80 and have nothing to show for it after 14+ days. For a company that markets itself around wellness and feeling good, this experience has felt the opposite. Fix your US fulfillment and support, Mother Root. You have a genuinely great product that deserves better than this.

Most delicious alternative to sugary drinks. Really has a strong bite. The customer service is excellent, when I had a broken bottle they replaced immediately. I’ve had about a dozen delivered previously with no issues.

This is Ginger cordial, the ingredients you can make at home for around £4. The thing that annoys me most is that it comes up on my Facebook feed 10 times a day and I can’t get rid of it! That suggests that around £25 from the sale of each bottle goes on Facebook posts! Please, leave it out!

At Mother Root, we only use the best ingredients to ensure a bold and balanced flavour. We source fine vinegar made from the best apples, undergoing a slow double fermentation process - very different from standard alternatives. We then macerate our botanicals and allow them to age for several weeks to months, deepening the complexity of flavour. Instead of sugar, we use honey, which not only enhances the taste and mouthfeel but also adds natural benefits - though it’s a much more premium ingredient. Over 63% of our ingredients are organic, and every step of our process is designed to maximise quality and taste.
We’re very sorry to hear the advertising has felt excessive. Unfortunately we don’t have control over how frequently platforms like Facebook choose to show adverts to individuals, but we do appreciate the frustration.

Poor ordering experience.
So far, the customer service for a failed delivery has been terrible. I had to chase for an update, and even then, the tracking ID doesn't work. No apology for me having to chase or an explanation for the delay in updating me. My order was for 2x limited edition rhubarb, which got damaged in transit, so it couldn't be completed (not Mother Root or my fault, I can tolerate that), but to just say, "I don't know when it'll be available," isn't good enough. I ordered it whilst it was in stock and I've paid for it. Give me a full refund as the first action, and then we can talk about me replacing the order. Don't leave me hanging, and then I have to do the legwork to find out what's going on. That was very disappointing to see. I love the company's product, but the service has been subpar. I hope to see some improvements, as I've gotten so many people onto Mother Root and I've spent a fortune buying it from local suppliers or online. When I eventually see some positive action, I can update my rating.

It has sugar in it making it much too sweet for my taste. I should have read the ingredients more carefully. I would prefer an unsweetened beverage.
